‎ - "𝘋𝘦𝘴𝘪𝘳𝘦" means a strong feeling of one thing to have something; a strong wish for something to happen.

‎• Grace - unmerrited favor.
‎• Ephesians 2:8
‎• The only way for us to have a relationship with God, 𝘪𝘴 𝘵𝘩𝘳𝘰𝘶𝘨𝘩 𝘏𝘪𝘴 𝘨𝘳𝘢𝘤𝘦.
‎• He is the 𝘪𝘯𝘴𝘵𝘪𝘨𝘢𝘵𝘰𝘳 of grace.
‎• It is from Him that grace overflows.
‎• The source of grace is 𝘭𝘪𝘮𝘪𝘵𝘭𝘦𝘴𝘴.

‎✅ 𝗠𝗲𝗿𝗰𝘆 - it is withholding punishment we deserve.
‎ - God chose to give His Son to be the 𝘴𝘢𝘤𝘳𝘪𝘧𝘪𝘤𝘦 for our sins, 𝘪𝘯 𝘰𝘶𝘳 𝘱𝘭𝘢𝘤𝘦.
‎
‎✅ 𝗚𝗿𝗮𝗰𝗲 - because God is so 𝘨𝘳𝘢𝘤𝘪𝘰𝘶𝘴, He still pour out His blessings even though we 𝘥𝘰𝘯'𝘵 𝘥𝘦𝘴𝘦𝘳𝘷𝘦 it.
‎ - He just didn't 𝘸𝘪𝘵𝘩𝘩𝘰𝘭𝘥, He also 𝘣𝘭𝘦𝘴𝘴𝘦𝘴 us even when we were 𝘴𝘵𝘪𝘭𝘭 𝘴𝘪𝘯𝘯𝘦𝘳𝘴.
‎ - He offers 𝘧𝘰𝘳𝘨𝘪𝘷𝘦𝘯𝘦𝘴𝘴, 𝘳𝘦𝘤𝘰𝘯𝘤𝘪𝘭𝘪𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯 and He even gave us 𝘢𝘣𝘶𝘯𝘥𝘢𝘯𝘵 𝘭𝘪𝘧𝘦.
‎ - He even gave us 𝘦𝘵𝘦𝘳𝘯𝘢𝘭 𝘭𝘪𝘧𝘦.
‎➡️ Peter wants us to understand how 𝘸𝘪𝘥𝘦, 𝘨𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘵 𝘎𝘰𝘥'𝘴 𝘨𝘳𝘢𝘤𝘦 𝘪𝘴.
‎
‎✅ 𝗝𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗳𝘆𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗚𝗿𝗮𝗰𝗲 - you must understand how God 𝘭𝘰𝘷𝘦𝘴 us.
‎ - He wants us to have a 𝘳𝘪𝘨𝘩𝘵 𝘧𝘰𝘶𝘯𝘥𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯, understanding God's grace.
‎ - Knowing that God's love overflows, it is 𝘪𝘮𝘱𝘰𝘴𝘴𝘪𝘣𝘭𝘦 for us not to grow.
‎
‎✅ 𝗦𝗮𝗻𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗳𝘆𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗚𝗿𝗮𝗰𝗲 - it is the grace that comes from God that helps us 𝘨𝘳𝘰𝘸.
‎ - it is God's empowerment. We have that power to resist enemy's temptation, not complaining but obeying.
‎ - a daily empowerment to move forward.

‎ - when the storm comes, it is the root that keeps the tree standing. It means 𝘣𝘦𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘳𝘦𝘴𝘪𝘭𝘪𝘦𝘯𝘵.
‎ - when we say "𝘴𝘵𝘢𝘣𝘭𝘦", it means there is 𝘤𝘰𝘯𝘴𝘪𝘴𝘵𝘦𝘯𝘤𝘺.
‎ - What does it mean to be resilient and consistent? It means you are d𝘪𝘴𝘤𝘪𝘱𝘭𝘪𝘯𝘦𝘥 𝘥𝘦𝘦𝘱𝘭𝘺, cannot be shaken or removed easily.

‎• What's important is 𝘳𝘪𝘨𝘩𝘵 𝘱𝘰𝘴𝘪𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯𝘪𝘯𝘨.

‎• It was the season where people were:
‎ - walking away from God.
‎ - worshipping idols.
‎ - not listening to the warnings.
‎• Many Israelites at that time were exiled.

‎📍𝗠𝗮𝗶𝗻 𝗠𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗮𝗴𝗲:
‎✅ Warning / Judgement
‎✅ Hope / Restoration
‎
‎➡️ Verse 11 — not initially meant for those who are successful but to the Israelites who were exiled in Babylon.
‎ - who were struggling, confused and feeling hopeless.
‎
‎• God has a plan for us. His promise is not only for good times but also in "exile season" (struggle, delay, pain)
‎• Let us acknowledge that struggle is normal, not a fake faith—but a real faith.
‎
‎📍How do this verse helps us in our situation now?
‎ - our situation is not changed easily by this verse, but it changes our perspective in life.
‎✅ God has a plan, even though we cannot see it yet.
‎✅ He will not abandon us.
‎✅ There is still hope even though we are struggling now.
‎
