San Vicente accidentally found the image of St. Vincent Ferrer in a well located in a certain portion of land now located in front of Far Eastern University (FEU) in Metrogate Silang Estates. Though the well had been covered with earth after road construction inside the subdivision, the tree marking is still there. After the image was found, it then became the patron saint of Biluso and San Vicent
e which was once a part of Biluso. San Vicente used to be called Canario but it was later changed to San Vicente in honor of the patron saint. Several miracles related to healing the sick have already taken place since then. As a matter of fact, pilgrims visit the chapel in San Vicente or Biluso during his Feast Day to thank him for the gift of healing or to ask for healing. In Barangay Biluso, a small lot was donated by Mr. Roberto Reyes Carlos to serve as chapel for the barangay. In its early years, it was only made of indigenous materials. Around 43 years ago, miracle took place when a small child asked a favor to a certain Mr. Romualdo Geronimo who married a lady from Biluso. The child appeared in their home in Manila and asked Mr. Geronimo to repair his house. After quite some time, Mr. Geronimo went to visit their property in Biluso. To his surprise, he recognized the image of St Vincent to be the same child who went in his house in Manila to ask him to repair his house. It was then that Mr Geronimo realized that the child was referring to the makeshift chapel of St. Vincent Ferrer in Brgy. Recognizing that it was an appearance of the patron saint, he immediately committed to building the chapel, which he constantly repairs up to now whenever there are needs for renovation. The chapel holds a distinct image of a praying hand that houses the small bell. Another set of hands, this time open in gesture to signify receiving, was built in the altar. Medina suggested to add another set of hands in giving position to complete the cycle. When a political subdivision took place separating Canario from Brgy. Biluso, the two barangays maintained the same patron saint. Because the founder was from Canario and the place where the image was found is located in Biluso, the two barangays alternately celebrated the patron saintโs feast day every April 5. On odd years, the original image of St. Vincent will stay in San Vicente while on even years, it will stay in Biluso. An hermana/hermano mayor is drawn a year prior to the transfer of the Image. The hermana/hermano takes care of the Image for the entire year that the Image stays in the barangay. The traditional โLipatan ng Poonโ (Transfer) takes place a few weeks after the Feast Day.
