“Hey, mama. It’s okay to slow down.”

Just another day well-spent for our ilaw ng tahanan as they had their Mother’s day outdoor fellowship at G3 Resort, Pansol, Calamba, Laguna.

Aside from the fun games, hot spring pool and food, they learned the importance of prayer and nurturing and being an influence to not just their own children and families, but also especially the other people around them.

With all the confusion and injustice around, let us keep and stand in our faith. As these things are to happen and will happen, these must not be a hinder for us to declare and proclaim our faith in Christ alone.

Mother's day is about gratitude. A gratitude for their sincere and living faith. What dwells in her may later dwell in others.
God still uses women today. Their labor matters, therefore they deserved to be recognized and honored.

As the world is watching us, living a Christ-like character should manifest the purpose of our salvation, and the difference between merely following a religion and having a relationship with Christ.

Through reading the Word of God, the works of the Holy Spirit, and even trials and circumstances, this character is being developed.

How do we live a Christ-like character? It is seen in us?
