THE WORLD IS DARK—BUT CHRIST HAS NOT LEFT US WITHOUT LIGHT.

We often look to our own wisdom, feelings, or the voices around us to find our way. But Scripture points us somewhere far more certain: God’s Word is a lamp to our feet and a light to our path. It exposes sin, reveals truth, and ultimately points us to Jesus Christ—the true Light of the world.

Walking in the light is more than simply knowing what the Bible says. It is the fruit of a life transformed by grace: turning from sin, trusting Christ, submitting to His Word, and depending upon the Holy Spirit to conform us more and more to the likeness of our Savior.

And we do not walk alone. Christ gathers His people into His Church, where we encourage one another, confess our need for grace, bear one another’s burdens, and grow together in truth.

So ask yourself today: Am I walking according to the light of God’s Word—or simply following wherever the world leads?

The darkness cannot save us. Our own goodness cannot save us. But Christ can.

Walk in His light. Abide in His Word. Fix your eyes on Jesus.

What a rainy but blessed Sunday!

As we reflected on Hebrews 10:23–25, we were reminded to hold firmly to the hope that we have in Christ, encourage one another in love and good works, and never neglect gathering together. As we await the day of His coming, may we continue to strengthen one another and remain faithful, not alone, but together.

What if the person who hurt you doesn't deserve your forgiveness?

That is precisely what makes mercy mercy.

We naturally want people to earn our forgiveness. Yet the gospel confronts us with a humbling truth: we could never earn God’s forgiveness either. We were not merely wounded people needing comfort; we were sinners guilty before a holy God. Yet while we were undeserving, God showed His mercy toward us through Jesus Christ.

At the cross, Christ bore the judgment His people deserved so that guilty sinners could be forgiven and reconciled to God. We are saved by grace alone, through faith alone, in Christ alone—not because we were worthy, but because He is merciful.

And that grace changes us.

The Christian forgives not to earn God’s forgiveness, but because we have been forgiven in Christ. Mercy toward those who hurt us becomes evidence of a heart being transformed by the gospel.

Forgiveness may be painful. It does not mean pretending sin never happened, removing wise boundaries, or calling evil good. But it does mean surrendering personal vengeance to the righteous Judge and refusing to let bitterness rule our hearts.

Look to the cross. Remember the mercy you received. Then, by His grace, extend mercy to others.

We forgive because Christ first forgave us.

What a blessed Sunday!

As we reflected on 2 Samuel 6:3–7, we were reminded that God desires more than good intentions—He calls us to wholehearted obedience and reverence for His holiness. May we continue to honor Him not only in worship, but also in the way we live each day.

What a blessing it is to gather once again as one church family! 🤍

Every Sunday is a reminder that God is faithful—not only in the victories, but also in the ordinary moments when we come together to worship, pray, learn, and encourage one another.

Thank you to everyone who joined us in celebrating God's goodness. We pray that His Word continues to bear fruit in our hearts throughout the week.

What you focus on determines how you respond.

The Israelites saw giants. Joshua and Caleb saw God.

Same land. Same obstacles. Different mindset.

When our focus shifts from the problem to God's promise, presence, power, and faithfulness, fear loses its grip.
