BIR issued RMC No. 49-2020 which allow taxpayers to submit their tax returns, audited financial statements, and other attachments online through the BIR website.

Upon successful submission, eAFS will be issuing a system-generated Transaction Reference Number and will send an email to the user. The Transaction Reference Number will be the proof of submission in lieu of the stamp “Received”.

Some of you might receive this email upon submission of your 2021 Audited Financial Statement:
"Your submission has been reverted due to the following reasons:
For submissions from 2019 to present, please use the NSPO Form athttps://cifss-ost.sec.gov.ph/app/company-dashboard/static/media/nspo_123456.26620ce3.pdf or you can find the downloadable link in your OST accounts' dashboard page."

If this happens, follow the link provided in the email and accomplish NSPO forms 1-6.

Additional requirements for financial statements of corporations covered under Section 17.2 of the SRC are set forth under Part II of the SRC Rule pages 32-45.
