WHAT DOES THE LORD REQUIRE OF YOU?

God has already shown us what is good and what He desires from His people. Our walk with Him is not simply about religious practices, but about living out a faith that reflects His character.

Micah 6:8 reminds us of three things the Lord requires from us: to act justly, to love mercy, and to walk humbly with our God.

To act justly means choosing what is right, being fair, standing for truth, and treating others with honesty and integrity, even when no one is watching.

To love mercy means having a heart that willingly extends compassion, forgiveness, generosity, and grace to others. Like the Good Samaritan, mercy moves us beyond simply feeling sorry and calls us to take action and help.

To walk humbly means recognizing our complete dependence on God, trusting Him rather than relying only on our own understanding, and resisting the pride that can draw us away from Him.

May our faith be seen not only in what we say, but in how we live each day. May we choose to Act Justly, Love Mercy, and Walk Humbly with God.

FAITHFULNESS TILL THE END

The Christian life is not measured by how we begin, but by how we finish. Many people start their journey with passion and excitement, yet only those who remain faithful through every season will finish the race well. God is not only looking at our first steps of faith. He is looking for hearts that will remain loyal, obedient, and steadfast until the very end.

Faithfulness means staying committed even during difficult seasons. Trials may test our faith, but God uses every hardship to strengthen our endurance and deepen our trust in Him. Before David ruled a kingdom, he faithfully cared for sheep. God honors those who remain faithful in the small things before entrusting them with greater responsibilities.

Following Christ requires endurance. Christianity is not a sprint but a marathon. Along the journey, many become distracted, discouraged, disappointed, or weary. Yet those who keep their eyes fixed on Jesus continue running, knowing that He is both the Author and Finisher of our faith.

Above all, faithfulness is rooted in our love for Christ. We obey Him not merely out of duty, but because we love Him. Love is the root, and faithfulness is the fruit. A life lived in faithful obedience leaves an eternal legacy that continues to impact generations.

Like the Apostle Paul, may we one day declare with confidence, "I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith." May we not simply start our race but finish it well for the glory of God. Let us remain faithful, not just for a season, but until the very end.

ACTIVATE YOUR THIRST

True spiritual growth begins with a heart that thirsts for God. Just as our bodies cannot survive without water, our souls cannot flourish apart from His presence. Jesus, the Living Water, alone can satisfy the deepest longing of every heart and give eternal life.

Our thirst for God reflects our desire to seek His righteousness above all else. When we draw near to Him, He restores our strength, refreshes our spirit, and fills every dry place in our lives. God not only meets our personal needs, but also pours out His blessings upon our families, allowing His faithfulness to reach future generations.

A life that continually hungers and thirsts for the Lord experiences open heavens, divine provision, renewed strength, and the overflowing presence of the Holy Spirit. God's promise is not only for today but for our children and the generations to come.

May we never lose our thirst for His presence. As we seek Him first, He faithfully satisfies, restores, and pours out His Spirit upon all who come to Him with hungry hearts.

"For I will pour water upon him that is thirsty, and floods upon the dry ground: I will pour My Spirit upon thy seed, and My blessing upon thine offspring."

ACTIVATE YOUR CALLING

Every believer has a calling from God. It is not merely a position to hold, but a divine purpose to fulfill. God gives the calling, but it is our faith, obedience, and willingness that activate it.

This Sunday, we were reminded that our calling begins with intimacy with God. Before He entrusts us with greater responsibilities, He first develops our relationship with Him. Like David, Moses, and Jesus, God prepares His people in the hidden seasons before revealing them for His purpose.

Activating our calling requires faithfulness in the little things, obedience even when it's difficult, courage to overcome fear, and complete dependence on the Holy Spirit. God is not looking for perfect people, but for hearts that are fully surrendered and available for His work.

May we never compare our calling with others or allow fear to keep us from stepping into God's purpose. Instead, let us answer His call with willing hearts and trust that the One who called us will also equip us.

CULTIVATE TO ACTIVATE (Part 2)

On this first Sunday of the month, our church family gathered not only to worship the Lord but also to partake in the Holy Communion, remembering the greatest act of love through the sacrifice of our Lord Jesus Christ.

As we continued our sermon series, "Cultivate to Activate," we were reminded that God's preparation in our lives does not end after one season. Cultivation is a continuous process where He develops our hearts, strengthens our faith, builds our character, and teaches us to remain faithful in both the seen and unseen moments of life.

God is more concerned with who we are becoming than how quickly we reach our destination. Before He entrusts us with greater responsibilities, He first cultivates obedience, humility, discipline, and a deeper relationship with Him. Every prayer, every act of service, every season of waiting, and every step of faith is preparing us for the purpose He has already planted within us.

As we received the bread and the cup during Holy Communion, we were reminded to remain connected to Christ, for apart from Him we can do nothing. True activation begins with a life that continually abides in His presence.

May we continue to trust God's perfect process, knowing that every season of cultivation is preparing us for His greater purpose and for His glory.

"I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in Me and I in you, you will bear much fruit; apart from Me you can do nothing." John 15:5

CULTIVATE TO ACTIVATE

Before God activates, He cultivates.

Many of us desire the fulfillment of God's calling, but every purpose begins with a season of preparation. Just as a farmer patiently cultivates the soil before the harvest, God develops our character, strengthens our faith, and deepens our relationship with Him before releasing what He has planted within us.

The waiting season is not wasted. Every prayer, act of obedience, lesson learned, and step of faith is part of God's process. What He cultivates today, He will activate in His perfect time.

Don't rush the process, trust the One who is preparing you for His purpose.

"Those on the good ground are those who, having heard the word with a noble and good heart, keep it and bear fruit with patience." — Luke 8:15

WANTED: PERFECT FATHER

While no earthly father is perfect, God calls fathers to reflect His love, character, and faithfulness within their families.

Through the lives of Job and Abraham, we see examples of fathers who led with righteousness, faith, and deep spiritual concern for their children. In contrast, the story of Eli reminds us of the importance of guiding and disciplining our children according to God's will.

Fathering is a divine concept established by God. A father's influence has the power to shape hearts, strengthen families, and leave a lasting legacy for future generations.

Children learn not only from what fathers teach, but also from what they see. They watch how fathers love, serve, pray, persevere, and trust God through every season of life.

As we celebrate Father's Day, may every father look to our perfect Heavenly Father as the ultimate example of love, wisdom, and faithfulness.
