CALLING NEW LECTORS AND COMMENTATORS!

“Proclaim His word with faith and devotion.”

Are you being called to serve the Lord through His Word?
The St. Francis Borgia Parish is now opening the doors for new lectors and commentators who are willing to commit themselves to the ministry of proclaiming God’s Word during the Holy Mass and other liturgical celebrations.

Who can join?
* Old Members of Lectors & Commentators
* Be single / Married (No live-in partner)
* Be a practicing male Catholic, distinguished in Christian life, faith, and morals.
* Be at least 12 years old.
* Have received the Sacraments of Baptism, Confirmation, and Eucharist.
* Possess the abilities and temperament to serve with dignity and responsibility.
* With clear reading skills and a heart for prayer
* Willing to undergo training and formation
* Spiritually prepared to serve regularly and reverently

Duties and Responsibilities:
• Proclaim the First and Second Readings
• Lead the Prayers of the Faithful and Psalm (if needed)
• Assist the flow of the liturgy through clear and prayerful communication

“How can they hear unless someone proclaims?” - Romans 10:14
