The Our Lady of Perpetual Help Chapel Community warmly invites you to join Misa de Gallo, a nine-day Novena Mass (from December 16 to 24).

Below are the schedules:

𝐌𝐈𝐒𝐀 𝐃𝐄 𝐆𝐀𝐋𝐋𝐎 (December 16-24, 2024)
• Novena will start at 3:00 AM
• Eucharistic Celebration at 4:00 AM

𝗜𝗺𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁𝗮𝗻𝘁 𝗡𝗼𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗲❗
✓ December 22 (Sunday): There will be still a 10:00 AM Regular mass
✓ OLPHC will be the one of the sponsors in Alay sa Belen: a Christmas gift to the poorest of the poor in our centro and barangay communities, you are welcome to offer imperishable goods at the offertory procession during mass at Our Lady of the Pillar Parish Church at 4:00 AM on December 22.

THRONE OF GRACE : We will FIND GRACE to help us WHEN WE NEED it most - Hebrews 4:16

THE SIMPLE FACT IS THAT, YOU CANNOT MAKE IT THROUGH LIFE ON YOUR OWN. Mercy is not receiving what you deserve, but grace is receiving what you don’t deserve. That's right, every prayer that was answered & every blessing you received in life is purely God's grace (Eph 2:8-9). But, IT IS ONLY WHEN YOU HUMBLE YOUR 'SELF' & ACKNOWLEDGE THE DIVINE GRACE, YOU WILL CONTINUE TO EXPERIENCE GOD'S GUIDANCE IN YOUR LIFE (Prov 3:6).

So, where do you need God’s help today? Where do you need his mercy and grace in your life? Know that HE is not a God who is distant but one who is very closer to you (Psalm 145:18). HE is a God who knows everything about you & full of love, mercy & grace for you. Dear reader, WHATEVER YOUR NEED BE, COME BEFORE THE THRONE OF GOD & BOLDLY ASK FOR IT IN JESUS NAME. If you hunger for righteousness, you will be satisfied (Matt 5:6). If you need provision, God has promised to take care of your every need (Php 4:19). Yes, YOUR HEAVENLY FATHER LOVES YOU & WHEN YOU BOLDLY COME BEFORE HIS THRONE OF GRACE IN PRAYER, HE WILL ANSWER YOU WITH EVERY GOOD & PERFECT GIFT YOU NEED. Blessings to you & yours.

The fourth Sunday of Advent, we light the candle of LOVE.
Whereas the purple color of the first two Advent candles drew our thoughts in the direction of penance and fasting, on the fourth Sunday of Advent, with the imminent approach of our King, Jesus Christ, the final purple candle represents royalty.
Christmas happens as we open to the possibility of hope, when we live in the understanding of peace, and when we give love.

The joy that is Christmas—the birth of the Christ, happens all the time, every minute of every day. As the days get shorter and darkness seems to close in,
we light the candle for joy to remind ourselves of the power and presence within us. Then we celebrate the season with newfound glee.
