Any denomination or religious system that teaches salvation requires MORE than Christ’s sacrifice
→ denies the sufficiency of Christ’s atonement
(even if they use Jesus’ name).
Denominations / Systems That Deny the Sufficiency of Christ’s Sacrifice
1. Roman Catholic System (doctrinal teaching)
Denial method:
Christ’s sacrifice is taught as not sufficient alone because salvation requires:
Sacraments (baptism, confession, Eucharist, etc.)
Works of merit
Purgatory
Indulgences
Church mediation
Priestly absolution
Key doctrinal problem:
The Mass is taught as a continuing sacrifice, not a finished work.
📖 Bible contradiction:
“This man, after he had offered one sacrifice for sins for ever, sat down on the right hand of God.”
— Hebrews 10:12
“It is finished.” — John 19:30
2. Mormonism (LDS)
Denial method:
Christ’s atonement is not enough
Salvation = Christ + works + temple rituals + ordinances + obedience
Exaltation through merit
3. Jehovah’s Witnesses
Denial method:
Christ is not God
Atonement is limited
No assurance of salvation
Works-based system
4. Iglesia ni Cristo (INC)
Denial method:
Christ is not God
Church membership is necessary for salvation
Christ’s sacrifice alone is not sufficient
5. Seventh-day Adventist System
Denial method (doctrinal structure):
Investigative judgment doctrine
Law-keeping (Sabbath) tied to salvation
Final salvation based on obedience
6. Sacramental Churches (General Category)
Includes systems that teach:
Grace is dispensed through rituals
Salvation through church ordinances
Priest-mediated forgiveness
7. Legalistic Protestant Systems
Denial method:
Salvation maintained by works
Loss of salvation if obedience fails
Christ’s work is not sufficient for eternal security
How They Deny It (Core Patterns)
They add:
❌ Works
❌ Law
❌ Rituals
❌ Sacraments
❌ Church authority
❌ Human merit
❌ Religious performance
❌ Moral obedience as saving power
Biblical Doctrine of Sufficiency
Christ’s sacrifice is:
Once — not repeated
Final — not ongoing
Complete — not partial
Perfect — not progressive
Sufficient — not assisted
📖 Key Scriptures:
Hebrews 10:10–14
Hebrews 9:12
Colossians 2:10
Romans 5:1
Ephesians 2:8–9
Titus 3:5
1 Peter 3:18
1 John 2:2
Biblical Summary Statement
Any denomination that teaches: Christ + anything = salvation
Grace + works = justification
Cross + rituals = forgiveness
Faith + law = righteousness
→ Denies the sufficiency of Christ’s sacrifice
Simple Test Question
Ask any church:
“Is the blood of Jesus Christ alone enough to save me forever?”
If the answer is not YES —
then Christ’s sacrifice is being denied as sufficient.

What Is the True Biblical Church?
Biblical Definition
The true church is not a building, denomination, or organization.
It is the body of redeemed people who are:
Saved by grace through faith in Jesus Christ alone,

“And the Lord added to the church daily such as should be saved.”

They use Christian language but deny salvation through Christ alone:
Jehovah’s Witnesses – Christ is created; salvation not by grace alone
Mormonism (LDS) – Christ + works + ordinances
Iglesia ni Cristo – Church-centered salvation, Christ not God
Christadelphians – Deny deity of Christ and substitutionary atonement
Unitarianism – Denies Christ’s deity and atonement
Oneness theology (non-biblical forms) – Denies biblical Trinity
Christian Science – Denies sin, cross, and substitution
Universalist sects – Deny exclusive salvation in Christ

Biblically speaking, any religion that does not preach Jesus Christ as the only Savior is not the true gospel (cf. John 14:6, Acts 4:12, Galatians 1:6–9).
Here are the main categories of religions and belief systems that do NOT preach Christ as Savior:
1. Non-Christian World Religions
These religions reject Jesus as Savior completely:
🔹 Islam
Jesus (Isa) = prophet only
Denies crucifixion
Denies deity
No salvation through Christ
🔹 Hinduism
Many gods
No concept of Jesus as Savior
Salvation = karma, reincarnation, enlightenment
🔹 Buddhism
No Savior concept
Salvation through self-effort and enlightenment
No Christ, no cross
🔹 Judaism (Rabbinic)
Rejects Jesus as Messiah
Still waiting for Messiah
Salvation = law-keeping, tradition
2. False Christian Sects / Cult Systems
They use Jesus’ name, but deny His saving work or identity:
🔹 Jehovah’s Witnesses
Jesus is a created being
Not God
No salvation by grace alone
🔹 Mormonism (LDS)
Jesus is not eternal God
Salvation includes works + ordinances
Many gods theology
🔹 Iglesia ni Cristo (INC)
Jesus = man only
Not God
Church saves, not Christ alone
🔹 Christadelphians
Deny deity of Christ
Deny Trinity
Deny substitutionary atonement
3. Works-Based Religious Systems
They deny salvation by grace alone through Christ alone:
🔹 Roman Catholic system (doctrinally)
Salvation = faith + works + sacraments
Church mediation
Christ not sufficient alone
(Note: This is doctrinal critique, not personal condemnation of individuals)
4. Philosophical / Spiritual Movements
No Savior theology:
New Age spirituality
Universalism
Humanism
Moralism
Deism
Biblical Standard for True Salvation
The Bible is clear:
“For there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.”
— Acts 4:12
“I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.”
— John 14:6
“By grace are ye saved through faith… not of works.”
— Ephesians 2:8–9

Determine the true servants of Christ ...
Generally speaking not all pastors are true pastors some are false teachers.
But let us remember a true shepherd is the one that leads to truth.
Biblically speaking Scripture is above tradition..

BAPTISM
Meaning of Baptism
The word baptism comes from the Greek word baptizō, which means to immerse, dip, or place into. It never means to sprinkle or pour.
In the New Testament, baptism is closely connected with identification. John’s baptism identified people with repentance. Christian baptism identifies the believer with Jesus Christ—His death, burial, and resurrection.
Baptism symbolizes:
Our union with Christ in His death and resurrection (Romans 6:3–5)
The putting off of the old life and the beginning of a new life in Christ (Colossians 2:12)
Our public confession of faith in Christ
Baptism does not save. Salvation is received by grace through faith alone (Ephesians 2:8–9). Baptism is an act of obedience following salvation.
Purpose of Baptism
Baptism is commanded by Christ (Matthew 28:19–20). It is:
A public testimony of faith in Christ
An act of obedience to the Lord
A means of identifying with a local church
A visible picture of an inward spiritual reality
Baptism demonstrates that the believer has already received forgiveness of sins and new life in Christ.
Importance of Baptism
Although baptism does not save, it is important because:
Christ Himself was baptized (Matthew 3:13–17)
Christ commanded His disciples to baptize believers (Matthew 28:19–20)
It is consistently practiced in the New Testament church (Acts 2:41; Acts 8:36–38)
It shows submission to Christ’s authority
It marks the believer’s separation from the old life and dedication to Christ
Baptism is the first step of obedience for a new believer.

STATEMENT OF FAITH

Molobolo Fellowship Baptist Church (Brgy.Molobolo Cauayan Negros Occidental)

> "Now the Lord is that Spirit: and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty." — 2 Corinthians 3:17

I. NAME

The church shall be known as Molobolo Fellowship Baptist Church

---

II. GOALS AND OBJECTIVES

The purpose and ministry of this church is to glorify God by obeying the Great Commission of our Lord Jesus Christ (Matthew 28:19–20). The practice of soul‑winning, discipleship, believer’s baptism, sound Bible teaching, fellowship, worship, and edification of the saints are the reasons for this church’s existence.

The church aims to exalt Jesus Christ as Lord and Saviour in all things. Excessive administration and any social or secular activity that distracts from God‑given responsibilities shall be avoided. The spiritual, financial, and physical resources of the church shall be directed toward evangelism, discipleship, and the spread of the Gospel locally and abroad.

---

III. CHURCH COVENANT (Mutual Agreement)

Having been led by the Holy Spirit to receive the Lord Jesus Christ as our Saviour, and having publicly professed our faith in Him, having been baptized in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit, we do now solemnly and joyfully enter into covenant with one another as one body in Christ.

We promise, by the grace of God, to watch over one another in brotherly love; to remember one another in prayer; to aid one another in sickness and distress; and to walk together in Christian love, striving for the growth of this church in grace, knowledge, holiness, and comfort through Christ.

We covenant to sustain the worship, ordinances, discipline, and doctrines of this church; to contribute cheerfully and regularly to the support of the ministry, the expenses of the church, the relief of the poor, and the spread of the Gospel through all nations.

We further covenant to maintain family and private devotions; to diligently instruct our children in the Word of God; to seek the salvation of our family and acquaintances; to live carefully in this present world; to be just in our dealings, faithful in our responsibilities, and exemplary in our conduct.

We covenant to avoid gossip, backbiting, sinful anger, and divisive behaviour; to abstain from practices that bring reproach upon the name of Christ; and to strive to grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.

When we remove from this place, we agree, as soon as possible, to unite with another Bible‑believing Baptist church where we may carry out the spirit of this covenant and the principles of God’s Word.

---

IV. DOCTRINAL STATEMENT

Members of this church shall hold to the following fundamental doctrines:

1. The Holy Scriptures

We believe the Holy Bible is the inspired, infallible, inerrant Word of God, verbally and plenarily inspired in the original manuscripts, and preserved by God. The Bible is the final authority in all matters of faith and practice.

2. The Godhead

We believe in one true and living God, eternally existing in three Persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit—equal in essence, power, and glory.

3. God the Father

We believe God the Father is the sovereign Creator and Sustainer of all things, perfect in holiness, wisdom, power, justice, goodness, and love.

4. Jesus Christ

We believe in the absolute deity and full humanity of the Lord Jesus Christ; His virgin birth, sinless life, substitutionary death, bodily resurrection, ascension into heaven, and His personal, imminent return.

5. The Holy Spirit

We believe the Holy Spirit is a divine Person who convicts the world of sin, regenerates believers, indwells, seals, guides, teaches, and empowers them for godly living and service.

6. Salvation

We believe salvation is by grace alone, through faith alone, in Jesus Christ alone, apart from works. Regeneration is the work of the Holy Spirit, and justification is by faith in the finished work of Christ.

7. Eternal Security

We believe that all who are truly born again are eternally secure in Christ and shall never lose their salvation.

8. Sanctification

We believe sanctification is a present and progressive work of God’s grace whereby the believer is set apart unto God and grows in holiness through obedience to the Word and the power of the Holy Spirit.

9. The Church

We believe the local church is a congregation of baptized believers, associated by covenant in the faith and fellowship of the Gospel, observing the ordinances of Christ, governed by His laws, and exercising the gifts, rights, and privileges invested in them by His Word.

10. Ordinances

We believe the two ordinances of the local church are believer’s baptism by immersion and the Lord’s Supper, both being memorials and testimonies of obedience to Christ.

11. Church Offices

We believe the biblical offices of the local church are Pastor (Bishop/Elder) and Deacon.

12. Separation

We believe in the biblical separation of the church from the world, apostasy, and false doctrine, and in the separation of church and state.

13. Last Things

We believe in the personal, imminent, pre‑tribulation return of Jesus Christ; the bodily resurrection of the saved and the lost; the eternal blessedness of the redeemed; and the eternal conscious punishment of the unbelieving.

14. Civil Government

We believe civil government is ordained of God for the interests and good order of human society, and believers are to pray for, honor, and obey civil authorities insofar as they do not contradict the Word of God.

---

V. CONCLUSION

This Statement of Faith shall serve as the doctrinal foundation of Molobolo Fellowship Baptist Church and shall guide its teaching, preaching, and practice for the glory of God and the furtherance of the Gospel.
