As we celebrate Pentecost Sunday, we remember the glorious day when the Holy Spirit descended upon the apostles in the form of tongues of fire, giving them courage and wisdom. Strengthened by the gifts of the Holy Spirit, they were transformed from fearful disciples into bold witnesses of the Gospel, sent forth to spread the Word of God to all nations.

This sacred event reveals the Church as both a divine gift and living missionโ€”united in faith, enlivened by grace, and continually guided by the Holy Spirit in truth and charity. Let us continue to be instruments of peace, hope, and compassion as we walk together in faith under the guidance of the Holy Spirit.

AND IT'S A WRAP! A week has passed since the 13th Campamento de Monaguillos 2026 in Pambujan, Northern Samar.

The Catubig Altar Servers proudly joined this three-day journey of reflection and growth. While we cherished the bonds of brotherhood and sisterhood, it was the silence of prayer and the wisdom shared during the spiritual, formation, and plenary talks that truly resonated within us. We return home with hearts touched and spirits renewed.

We spent the 3 days diving deep into our calling, understanding that our service at the altar is not just a duty, but a spiritual mission. ๐Ÿ“–โœจ

The Catubig Altar Servers warmly welcomed aspiring altar servers from every barangay in a heartfelt Orientation on Formation. It was a gathering filled with hope, dedication, and the courage to say โ€œyesโ€ to Godโ€™s call.

This journey is not only about learning the sacred duties at the altar, but also about shaping a life rooted in faith, discipline, and selfless service. Each step they take brings them closer to becoming instruments of Godโ€™s love in the Church and in their communities.

In this sacred night, we begin in darkness and rejoice in the light of Christโ€™s Resurrection. The blessing of the new fire and the lighting of the Paschal Candle remind us that Christ is our eternal Light, guiding us out of sin and into new life.

As we renew our baptismal promises, we are called to live as people transformed by faithโ€”embracing hope, walking in love, and sharing the joy of the Risen Lord with others.
