NDR-IEL FESTIVAL 2026

The NDR-IEL Festival was successfully held at Paglusngan, Cateel District of the Seventh-day Adventist Church with the inspiring theme, “We Will Serve the Lord.”

The event was spiritually enriching and uplifting as participants through out cateel district. gathered to strengthen their faith, fellowship, and commitment to God’s service. Special thanks to our guest speaker, Pastor Jasper Love Panuncio our beloved Northern Davao Mission Field Secretary and Adventist Mission, for sharing powerful messages that encouraged everyone to dedicate their lives in the service of the King.

The entire Cateel District Care Group rejoices and gives glory to God for the success of this wonderful gatherings. We also express our heartfelt appreciation to Pastor Alexander Lim Jr. for his dedicated leadership, guidance, and unwavering support in making this gathering a meaningful and memorable experience. Together with our beloved District Council President Bro. Alexis ticoy and NDR-IEL Cateel District Coordinator Bro. Leopoldo Perrales. And also to our dear brethren all 16 churches of Cateel District who supported this Gatherings

BAPTISM

Through the nightly Family Gospel Seminar, 12 precious souls made the life-changing decision to accept Jesus Christ as their personal Savior. Baptism was officiated by our beloved NDM Stewardship Director Pr. Felix Ombayan Jr.

We rejoice with heaven as these individuals surrendered their lives to Christ and chose to walk in His love and truth.

“There is joy in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner who repents.” – Luke 15:10

EVANGELISTIC CAMPAIGN CULMINATION‼️

With grateful hearts, we celebrate the successful culmination of our evangelistic campaign in Brgy. Mainit. Throughout this spiritual journey, lives were touched, faith was strengthened, and many hearts were drawn closer to Jesus Christ.

We praise God for His abundant blessings, for the dedication of our beloved speaker Pr. Felix Ombayan Jr. NDM Stewardship Director. Also to our church leaders and to all our care groups, members, and for everyone who supported this evangelistic campaign through the leadership of Pr. Alexander Lim Jr. May the seeds of truth that were planted continue to grow and bear fruit for God’s kingdom.

Family and Gospel Seminar‼️

Evangelistic Campaign at Brgy. Mainit, Cateel Davao Oriental. was truly a blessed and meaningful gathering, attended by more than 70 non adventist seminarians. Hearts and lives were touched and families were encouraged, and many were inspired through the sharing of God’s Word. By Pr. Felix Ombayan Jr. Our beloved NDM Stewardship Director.

Everyone was filled with joy and gratitude because of the overwhelming support, love, and cooperation of our dear brethren from Cateel District through the Leadership of Pr. Alexander Lim Jr. Truly unity and dedication became a great blessing in the ministry making this event spiritually successful.

May God continue to bless every family, every participant, and all the faithful brethren who helped make this seminar fruitful and inspiring.

Foot Washing and Communion Service‼️

After the successful week of devotion at Cateel Central church on may 18-23 2026. Led by our District Pastor Alexander Lim Jr. In preparation for the upcoming evangelistic campaign at Brgy. Mainit Cateel, Davao Oriental. Through heartfelt message and prayers the church family was reminded of Christ Humility, love, forgiveness and sacrifice.

Indeed it was a spiritual uplifting experience. The presence of God was deeply felt among His people. May the lessons learned throughout the Week of Devotion with the theme "People Like Us" continue to inspire everyone to live faithfully and serve others with Christlike love.

OFFICIAL STATEMENT

Northern Davao Mission of the Seventh-day Adventist Church

The Northern Davao Mission of the Seventh-day Adventist Church would like to address the concerns and questions arising from the activities and teachings of certain independent groups spreading claims regarding a specific date for the Second Coming of Jesus Christ.

The Seventh-day Adventist Church does not believe nor teach that Jesus Christ will return on May 15, or on any specific date declared by individuals or independent groups. The Church firmly rejects all attempts to predict or announce a definite date for the Second Coming of Christ.

The Bible clearly teaches:

“But of that day and hour no one knows, not even the angels of heaven, but My Father only.”
— Matthew 24:36

As a Church, we uphold the biblical teaching that while the Second Coming of Christ is certain and imminent, no human being has been given authority by God to determine or proclaim the exact date of His return.

The Seventh-day Adventist Church believes in the literal, visible, personal, and worldwide Second Coming of Jesus Christ. This blessed hope is one of the fundamental beliefs of the Church and is grounded entirely upon the teachings of the Holy Scriptures.

The Church teaches that believers must live in constant spiritual readiness, faithfully proclaiming the gospel, while avoiding speculative teachings and sensational claims that are not supported by Scripture.

We would also like to clarify that the group promoting these teachings is not affiliated with the Northern Davao Mission. Furthermore, they are not recognized members, representatives, or authorized ministries of the Church. The teachings and activities of this group do not represent the official doctrines, beliefs, or positions of the Seventh-day Adventist Church.

We encourage all church members and the public to seek guidance and clarification from their local church pastors, district leaders, and official Church leadership regarding issues, teachings, or movements that may create confusion among believers.

Let us remain united in the truth of God’s Word and anchored upon sound biblical teachings. While every individual is given freedom of conscience and belief, such freedom should not be used to promote unfounded interpretations or speculative teachings that are not faithfully grounded in Scripture.

We encourage everyone to return to the Bible as the only sure foundation of faith, doctrine, and Christian living. True teachings must always be tested through careful study of God’s Word and in harmony with the teachings of Jesus Christ.

The Northern Davao Mission remains committed to proclaiming the everlasting gospel, uplifting Christ, and preparing people for His soon return through biblical truth, love, and faithful ministry.

OPENING NIGHT!!
Week of devotion at Cateel Central Church

A spiritually uplifting Week of Devotion led by our beloved district pastor, Alexander Lim Jr. with the inspiring theme, “People Like Us"
reminding each one of us that the bible is not a book about perfect people its a book of real people, with real fears, temptation, questions, people who messed up. People who made mistakes and people who struggle just like you and me.

Care groups actively participated, making the entire week meaningful and faith-strengthening. As we studied the lives of God’s people in the Bible, we were reminded that God can also use ordinary people like us for His extraordinary purpose. Truly, it was a week filled with spiritual revival, unity, and abundant blessings from the Lord.

Vacation Bible Experience Cateel District 2026

This wonderful program was made possible through the dedication and leadership of our beloved Children’s Ministries Department, headed by our dear Ma’am Mahle Enejada DepEd Principal II. Together with her committed teachers and staff, and with the support of the difference churches in cateel district. Their passion, love, and tireless efforts became a great blessing to every child and participant.

Most importantly, among these precious little children, 12 accepted Jesus Christ as their personal Savior through the water baptism Officiated by Pr. Art Kevin Rio. A beautiful testimony of God’s love and the power of ministry to the young hearts. Heaven truly rejoices for these young souls who decided to follow Christ.

May God continue to bless the Children’s Ministries Department as they faithfully guide children closer to Jesus.

Matod pa niya "Luyo sa mga pagsulay dili ta malimot sa pag pasalamat sa Dyos sa tanang panahon."

Usa ka pag tuo nga nag pahinumdom kanato nga dili ta angay ma balaka tungod nga ang Dyos maoy naga amuma sa matag usa ka nato.
