With grateful hearts, we extend our deepest thanks to you, our very own Padre Entoy, for your two years of dedicated service as the priest-in-charge of St. Anthony of Padua Mission Center. Your unwavering commitment, selfless love, and tireless guidance have been a beacon of faith and hope for our community especially the San Isidro Labrador Chapel - BEC Old Manunca. Through your words and actions, you have nurtured our spiritual growth, strengthened our unity, and reminded us of God’s ever-present love. Your presence has been a blessing, and your leadership has left a lasting impact on our hearts and in the life of our mission center.

As you move forward in your journey of priestly service, we pray that God continues to bless you with wisdom, strength, and abundant grace. Though your time with us may have come to an end, the seeds of faith and kindness you have planted will continue to flourish in our community. Joining in Prayer: San Isidro Labrador Chapel Youth Ministry Remembers Typhoon Yolanda

Yesterday, November 8, the youth of San Isidro Labrador Chapel in Brgy. Old Manunca gathered in unity and faith, offering the Sorrowful Mysteries of the Holy Rosary in remembrance of the 11th anniversary of Typhoon Yolanda. Each decade was dedicated to those affected by the tragedy—the lost, the survivors, the responders, and the resilient communities that have since risen with strength and hope. Through this prayer, we came together as one community, lifting our intentions to God for those who still carry the burdens of this disaster.

As we prayed the First Sorrowful Mystery, we remembered those who endured Yolanda’s agony and prayed for strength in their memory. The Second Mystery was dedicated to survivors still bearing scars, asking for God’s grace to bring them continued healing. During the Third Mystery, we honored the responders, those who carried the cross of service and compassion, that they may be blessed for their sacrifices. The Fourth Mystery focused on the care for our nature to prevent future hazard and in building relationship with kur nature, and the Fifth Mystery called for resilience in facing future storms, with a reminder to lean on our faith as we did after Yolanda.

Together, the youth ministry embraced this solemn act of remembrance as an offering of hope, love, and unity. In each prayer, we felt the enduring strength of our faith and the bonds of a community that has stood steadfast. May our shared reflections and prayers continue to light the path forward, guided by God's mercy and inspired by the resilience that lives on in our hearts.

Honoring Mary through the 8th Annual Living Rosary

Following the inspiring Parade of Saints, our community gathered to celebrate the 8th Annual Living Rosary. This cherished tradition has grown over the years, bringing the faithful together in a circle of prayer and devotion to Our Blessed Mother. Each participant took on the role of a bead in the rosary, representing not only a prayer but also a shared intention for peace, guidance, and hope within our community and beyond.

The evening was filled with a deep sense of unity as voices joined in harmony to recite the mysteries of the Rosary. With each Hail Mary, we were reminded of Mary’s gentle guidance and the powerful intercession she offers to all who call upon her. The Living Rosary has become a beautiful symbol of our community’s shared faith, where each person’s prayer strengthens the whole, illuminating the way forward in love and trust.

Our heartfelt thanks to everyone who participated, from the organizers to each devoted prayer warrior who joined this year. Your dedication has helped make this Living Rosary a meaningful and lasting tradition. May we continue to honor Our Lady through this annual gathering, allowing her grace and love to inspire our lives each day.

Honoring Holiness at the 1st Parade of Saints!

Last October 31, 2024, our community gathered in joyful celebration for the 1st Parade of Saints! With 22 participants embodying the virtues and stories of various saints, the event was a meaningful tribute to the lives of these holy men and women. It was an opportunity to reflect on their inspiring journeys and encourage everyone to follow in their footsteps, striving to live lives of faith and compassion.

The event was filled with powerful moments as each participant introduced their chosen saint, sharing insights into their lives and messages. Among them, Trina and Virgel shone with their moving introductions, earning them the Best Introduction award. Their passion and devotion were evident, as they brought the saints’ stories to life, inviting everyone to connect more deeply with the inspiring legacies left by these holy figures.

In addition to their inspiring words, the participants showcased incredible creativity in their costumes, each detail thoughtfully crafted to reflect the unique traits of the saints they represented. A special congratulations to Louise and Hannan, who received the Best in Saint's Costume award. Their impressive attire vividly brought their chosen saints to life, reminding us of the beauty of holiness in every stitch and symbol.

Another highlight of the event was the award for Best in Saint Portrayal, which went to Sian Sky and Echorian. Their portrayals captivated the audience, reflecting not only the appearance but also the spirit of the saints they represented. With conviction and grace, they brought a message of faith to everyone present, reminding us that holiness is lived through action and sincerity.

This event would not have been possible without the dedication and hard work of everyone involved. We thank our participants, organizers, supporters, parents and sponsors who made the 1st Parade of Saints a memorable success. Let us continue to draw inspiration from the lives of the saints and strive to embody their virtues in our daily lives. Here’s to many more opportunities to celebrate our faith and be vessels of light and love!
