Sometimes we also go through seasons where nothing seems to change and heaven feels silent. But the story of the bleeding woman reminds us that God still sees, still cares, and still restores.

The delay did not mean abandonment.

Psalms 34:18 — “The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.

Sometimes the most painful seasons of life are actually shaping something greater behind the scenes. Betrayal, injustice, and long periods of waiting can easily lead to bitterness, yet choosing faithfulness and trust in God transforms suffering into purpose. What seems like delay often becomes preparation, and what feels like loss can turn into unexpected blessing. In the end, the power to forgive and recognize God’s greater plan reveals that even the hardest experiences can be used to bring growth, restoration, and hope—not only for oneself, but for many others.

Jesus first calms His child before He calms the storm.

“Why are you afraid, O you of little faith?” — Matthew 8:26

Sometimes God allows storms not only to expose the condition of our faith, but also for us to truly know who He is — and how great He is over every storm in our lives. Just as Jesus calmed the wind and the waves in Matthew 8:23–27, He reminds us that no storm is greater than His power and presence.

First Friday of May, students gathered at the park for Fridates—different campuses, one vibe, one reminder: “Victory on the making: Through our enduring.”🌿

📖: James 1:2-4

Our God is great, and His story from the cross, His birth and death and resurrection. His loved doesn't come only from His teaching, but through endurance, of shame, whips of pain, and abandonment yet Jesus endure all those things because of His love for us.

Endurance determines our strong love and great purpose to do things not for our own but to acknowledge Jesus and do it involving Him.🤎

People who aren’t afraid to 𝙗𝙚 𝙙𝙞𝙛𝙛𝙚𝙧𝙚𝙣𝙩, to speak life, to live boldly for something eternal.

We’ve seen enough to know that constant noise doesn’t equal peace, that attention doesn’t always mean value, that having everything within reach can still leave something essential untouched.

And somewhere in the middle of all that, there are young people choosing deliberately to step back and live differently. Not out of pressure, not out of fear, but because something in them recognizes that God is worth more than what the world keeps offering on repeat.

“Don’t let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith and in purity.” —1 Timothy 4:12

So to the young people who are choosing this path, even when it’s different from the crowd, even when it’s costly..keep going.

You are not behind. You are not strange. You are responding to a call that many ignore but few have the courage to follow.

Let your life speak, even when your words are few. Let your consistency say what trends cannot. Let your choices reflect a faith that is not dependent on mood, but rooted in truth.

Because this generation will not only be remembered for what it consumed, but for those who chose to live differently, to stand with conviction, and to carry a kind of fire that doesn’t need attention to keep burning. 🔥

FOLLOWING JESUS REQUIRES A SURRENDERED HEART.

This kind of heart begins when we HUMBLE ourselves before God, recognizing that we cannot rely only on our own strength, wisdom, or plans. Instead, we acknowledge that we need His guidance in every part of our lives.

A surrendered heart is also an OBEDIENT heart, one that is willing to follow what God asks us to do even when it is difficult or uncomfortable. Obedience shows our trust that God’s plans are always better than our own.

Finally, having a surrendered heart means having the WILLINGNESS to let go of anything that hinders us from serving Him fully—whether it is pride, fear, worldly desires, or anything that takes the place of God in our hearts. When we humble ourselves, obey His word, and willingly release the things that hold us back, we begin to live a life that truly follows Jesus with a whole and devoted heart. 🙌🌱

See you on next Friday!
