In the most famous artwork of Jesus Christ, We are all familiar of this story in Matthew 14:22-33. Where Jesus Christ walks on the water in the midst of storm and He commanded one of His apostles Peter to come over him, when Peter started walking on the water he always focused his eyes unto Jesus but the only problem is he stopped looking towards Jesus because of his fear and immediately he sunk but Jesus Christ rescued him.
So here is the 7 lessons we learn from Peter walking on water.
1. Don't take your eyes off Jesus.
2. When Jesus commands you, Obey Him.
3. Faith is simply taking the next step.
4. Faith unleashes the supernatural
5.Fear will sink you.
6. A little faith is better than no faith
7.Jesus saves you from many things.
This story gives us alot of lessons that applicable in our daily lives. When Jesus Christ command us we must obey. Always don't take your eyes off to our Savior especially when life is a tumultuous storm, look for Jesus and keep looking to Jesus just like Peter.
Always remember that fear will sink you, when Peter had faith, he walked on the water. When he had fear, he sank in the water. The same is true for you. Fear will sink you.
Faith unleashes the supernatural, Peter did not experience the supernatural power of God that allowed him to walk on water but he trusted as evidenced by his actions.
When we have faith, we can expect God to do what man cannot.
In conclusion, faith on our savior Jesus Christ is a very significant in our lives. With faith all things are possible. It brings direction and confidence in our daily lives. It answers our questions, It helps on our burdens and struggles everyday. By faith we will be blessed knowing the truth and purpose of this life.
