“Whoever eats my flesh and drinks my blood remains in me, and I in him.” — John 6:56

Our hearts overflowed with joy and gratitude at St. Joseph Husband of Mary Mission Center! 45 precious children from Brgy. Polangi, Cervantes, Somoge, and Gilalan-agan humbly and devoutly received the Holy Body of Christ for the very first time.

To our dear First Communicants:
You are the joy and hope of our community! With pure hearts and bright smiles, you welcomed Jesus, the Bread of Life, into your souls. May this sacred moment be the start of a lifelong journey of faith, love, and closeness to God. May you always abide in Him, and He in you, as His word promises. Congratulations on this beautiful milestone!

We offer our deepest thanks and appreciation to everyone who made this celebration possible:

Rev. Fr. Pax Maghacot, Jr., our Holy Mass Presider, for leading this sacred Eucharistic celebration with devotion, wisdom, and love. Thank you for guiding our young ones closer to the Lord and making this day truly blessed.

Our dedicated Catechists, for your patience, sacrifice, and loving guidance. You faithfully taught and prepared these children, planting seeds of faith that will grow and bloom forever. Your work is a beautiful gift to our community.

The loving parents and families, for your unwavering support, prayers, and for nurturing faith in your homes. Thank you for walking this journey with your children, guiding them, and making this day full of love and meaning.

May God bless and keep all of you. To Him be all glory, honor, and praise, now and always!

Day 4 and 5 of May Flower Catechesis.

For Day 4, the catechesis was led by Anne Garcia from the Polangi Catechists. The lesson was about our belief in one God in three Persons. The children learned that there is only one God, who is God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. This helped them understand our faith in a clearer and simple way.

On Day 5, the catechesis was led by Jeña Rhayne Villanueva. The lesson focused on the birth of Jesus. The children learned that Jesus was born through the Virgin Mary in a manger in Bethlehem and understood the importance of this place. They also learned about the Three Kings who visited Jesus. Most importantly, they were reminded of the moment when the Angel Gabriel told Mary that she would carry the Son of God. This marked the beginning of God’s plan to save us from our sins.

Special thanks to Madam Fe. Bedeo and Rev. Fr. Eduardo C. Maghacot Jr. for sponsoring the snacks for these days. 💜🌸
