FEAST OF BLESSED MICHAEL McGIVNEY

Tomorrow, August 13, we celebrate the feast of Blessed Michael McGivney, priest and founder of the Knights of Columbus.

4:00 AM – Procession
5:00 AM – Holy Mass

Blessed Michael McGivney had a particular devotion to the Blessed Mother. He dedicated the Knights of Columbus to Our Lady and encouraged the faithful to pray the Holy Rosary regularly.

Let us follow his example by drawing closer to Jesus through Mary, united in prayer and service.

A Blessed Diocesan Gathering

Today, the Diocesan Shrine of Our Mother of Perpetual Help welcomed members of the Confraternity of Our Mother of Perpetual Help from across the Diocese of Catarman for a day of faith, fellowship, and planning.

We also joyfully welcomed our newly appointed Spiritual Director, Rev. Fr. Jose Sumayop Jr. We thank God for his presence and pray for a fruitful ministry as he journeys with our Confraternity.

Together, let us continue our mission as Pilgrims of Hope, guided by Mary, Our Mother of Perpetual Help. πŸ™πŸ’™

Matthew 16:24–28

To carry our cross is to embrace God's will with faith, love, and trust. Every sacrifice, sorrow, and act of self-giving, when united with the Cross of Christ, becomes a path to holiness and a sharing in His saving work.

May we never run from the cross God permits in our lives, but carry it with love, knowing that faithful obedience always leads to the joy of the Resurrection.

"Whoever wishes to come after me must deny himself, take up his cross, and follow me."
