HAPPY EASTER SUNDAY! 🐣

“He is not here; he has risen, just as he said. Come and see the place where he lay.” (Matthew 28:6)

The resurrection of Jesus Christ on Easter Sunday is the cornerstone of the Christian faith, signifying the fulfillment of God’s plan for redemption and offering the promise of eternal life. It is a day of immense joy and hope as we celebrate the victory of light over darkness, life over death, and the triumph of God’s love for humanity—which is the true meaning of Easter. Good Friday commemorates the crucifixion and death of Jesus Christ, signifying his ultimate sacrifice for humanity’s sins. It is viewed as the ultimate act of love and redemption, that the Lord gave to his people and became a symbol of his mercy and forgiveness towards humans.

This Good Friday, let us remember the significance of Jesus’ sacrifice and embody its spirit by offering second chances to those in need. Jesus showed this love for us by willingly sacrifing himself on the cross and may we be reminded of the depth of His love for us.

On Holy Thursday, we are called to remember the last supper of Jesus Christ with his apostles. The washing of the feet reminds us how Jesus instructed us to love and serve one another. This day also commemorates the establishment of the sacrament of the Eucharist or Holy Communion.

This time of year, we are given the opportunity to follow Jesus by loving and serving one another as he has loved and served us. He showed this by washing the feet of his disciples, a symbol of humility and service. As we reflect on Jesus’ example, we are called to follow his lead and live a life of service to others. We must be willing to put the needs of others before our own and sacrifice ourselves for the good of others.

So, too, by partaking in communion, we are submitting to Jesus’ command to remember him by the taking and sharing of bread and wine. This is a powerful worship experience that draws us closer to Jesus as the body of Christ.

May this be a time of reflection on Jesus’ sacrifice and the importance of serving others. Wishing you to have a blessed and meaningful Maundy Thursday everyone!🙏🏻

Palm Sunday marks the beginning of the Holy Week, commemorating the day when Jesus entered Jerusalem as Savior and King. It signifies a time of celebration as Jesus was worshipped and praised. Jesus is welcomed as King by the crowd waving palms, singing “Hosanna” as their response to having witnessed His countless merciful works.

As we begin the Holy Week, Palm Sunday serves an important reminder that we are called to walk with Jesus and stay beside Him the whole way to the cross, the symbol of His unending love, so that we rise with Him to a new life. May this day reminds us of the ultimate sacrifice of Jesus’ life on the cross and inspire us to embrace love, kindness, and unity in our lives.

Let us embark on this Holy Week with hearts full of gratitude and praise. Have a blessed Palm Sunday everyone! 🌿🙏🏻

26th Sunday in Ordinary Time

In today’s gospel, we have seen just how great God’s love is for us, and we have been so blessed that God has done everything for our sake by suffering and dying on the cross for us. He showed His love for us in real action and commitment; therefore, each and every one of us should also have the same kind of love in us, love that is genuine and generous, first of all for the Lord, our God, and we should also have the same kind of love for our fellow brothers and sisters.

That is our calling and mission as Christians, to show God’s love and compassion, His kindness and mercy through our own actions, words and deeds. As Christians, we are all called to be filled with God’s love, to be virtuous and righteous as best as possible.

Therefore, let us all remind and inspire one another that our every works, actions and deeds may always truly glorify the Lord, our God.

Happy Sunday, DOMNET Kids! 🤍🙏

In today’s gospel, we are all called to live our lives wholeheartedly for the Lord and commit ourselves thoroughly to Him and to His cause. As Christians, all of us should always put the Lord at the center and as the focus of our entire lives and existence. That is how we can then truly live our lives in accordance with God and His ways, and that is how we can be better and more worthy disciples and followers of our Lord.

Let us all therefore strive our best to be true and genuine Christians, doing what the Lord has called and entrusted us to do in every opportunity that comes our way. Let us all do our best in our own ways so that in everything we do and in our interactions with one another, we will always proclaim the glory of God and reveal His truth and love to more and more people. Let us all be great role models and inspirations for one another, so that God’s light and truth may be shown to all around us.
