MESSAGE TO THE PEOPLE OF GOD IN THE DIOCESE OF CATARMAN IN SOLIDARITY WITH THE CALL FOR PEACE BY POPE LEO XIV
Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ,
The grace and peace from the risen Christ be with you all!
In these challenging times, we join the earnest appeal of Pope Leo XIV for peace, dialogue, and reconciliation among peoples and nations. In a world wounded by conflict, division, and violence, the Holy Father reminds us that the path to peace is not found in hatred or aggression, but in sincere dialogue, mutual understanding, and respect for the dignity of every human person.
As members of the Body of Christ in this pilgrim Church in Northern Samar, let us embrace this divine calling to foster peace within our communities, promote dialogue among different groups, and be witnesses of Christ’s love and mercy. May we draw inspiration from Pope Leo XIV’s prophetic voice to work tirelessly for the common good, to build bridges where walls have been built, and to seek harmony in our relationships.
Let us pray for peace in our land, for wisdom among leaders, and for the courage to live out the Gospel message of love and unity. Together, guided by the Holy Spirit, we can contribute to a more peaceful and harmonious world.
May the Lord bless and keep us all.
