📖✨ BIBLE VERSE OF THE WEEK ✨📖
Matthew 16:24

«“Whoever wishes to come after me must deny himself, take up his cross, and follow me.”»

“Take up your cross and follow Jesus.” ✝️

Bilang kabataan, hindi laging madali ang pagsunod kay Jesus. May mga problema, pressure, disappointments, at mga pagkakataong parang gusto na nating sumuko. Pero ipinapaalala sa atin ni Jesus na ang bawat pagsubok ay hindi dahilan para lumayo sa Kanya.

Ang “cross” ay maaaring sumimbolo sa mga responsibilidad, sakripisyo, at challenges na hinaharap natin araw-araw. Hindi ibig sabihin na kailangan nating maging perpekto. Ang mahalaga ay patuloy tayong bumangon, manalig, at piliing gawin ang tama kahit mahirap.

🌱 Kabataan, huwag tayong matakot sa mga pagsubok. Dalhin natin ang ating mga “cross” kasama si Jesus, dahil hindi Niya tayo iniiwan sa ating paglalakbay.

This week, let’s ask ourselves:
“Sa mga ginagawa ko araw-araw, paano ko naipapakita na sinusundan ko si Jesus?” ❤️

This celebration is more than just a festive occasion. It is a beautiful reminder of our faith in God, our devotion, and our unity as brothers and sisters in Christ. Through the life and example of San Roque, may we be inspired to remain faithful, compassionate, humble, and always ready to serve others. 🙏

As we celebrate this special day, may we never forget the true center of our fiesta—Jesus Christ and the Holy Eucharist. May our prayers, Masses, traditions, and gatherings lead us closer to God and strengthen our relationship with Him. 🕊️✨

📖 𝗕𝗶𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘄𝗲𝗲𝗸

“𝘋𝘰 𝘯𝘰𝘵 𝘣𝘦 𝘢𝘧𝘳𝘢𝘪𝘥 𝘢𝘯𝘺 𝘭𝘰𝘯𝘨𝘦𝘳, 𝘭𝘪𝘵𝘵𝘭𝘦 𝘧𝘭𝘰𝘤𝘬, 𝘧𝘰𝘳 𝘺𝘰𝘶𝘳 𝘍𝘢𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘳 𝘪𝘴 𝘱𝘭𝘦𝘴𝘴𝘦𝘥 𝘵𝘰 𝘨𝘪𝘷𝘦 𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘬𝘪𝘯𝘨𝘥𝘰𝘮."

This verse reminds us that we do not need to be controlled by fear or worry because God cares for us. Jesus calls His followers His “little flock,” showing His closeness and love toward them. Even when we face uncertainty, challenges, or things we cannot control, we can place our trust in God because He knows what we need.

The Gospel also reminds us to 𝘀𝘁𝗮𝘆 𝗳𝗮𝗶𝘁𝗵𝗳𝘂𝗹 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗽𝗿𝗲𝗽𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗱. Our faith should not only be something we practice on Sundays; it should guide the way we live every day. We are called to be faithful in our responsibilities, generous toward others, and ready to respond whenever God calls us.

𝗧𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝘄𝗲𝗲𝗸, 𝗹𝗲𝘁 𝘂𝘀 𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗼𝘀𝗲 𝗳𝗮𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿 𝗳𝗲𝗮𝗿, 𝘁𝗿𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗿𝘆, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗳𝗮𝗶𝘁𝗵𝗳𝘂𝗹𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿 𝗴𝗶𝘃𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘂𝗽. We may not know what tomorrow will bring, but we can be confident that God is with us and that His plans are always rooted in love. 🙏✨

Bible verse of the week🙏✨

In 𝗠𝗮𝘁𝘁𝗵𝗲𝘄 14:16, Jesus said to His disciples, "𝘛𝘩𝘦𝘺 𝘥𝘰 𝘯𝘰𝘵 𝘯𝘦𝘦𝘥 𝘵𝘰 𝘨𝘰 𝘢𝘸𝘢𝘺. 𝘠𝘰𝘶 𝘨𝘪𝘷𝘦 𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘮 𝘴𝘰𝘮𝘦𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘵𝘰 𝘦𝘢𝘵." At first, the disciples focused on what they did not have. They saw a large crowd and believed that five loaves of bread and two fish were not enough. But Jesus wanted them to look beyond their limitations and trust in God's power. After they offered what little they had, Jesus blessed it, broke it, and multiplied it until everyone had enough to eat.

This Gospel teaches us that God does not expect us to have everything before we can serve others. He simply asks us to offer whatever we have—our time, talents, resources, compassion, and willingness to help. Even when our efforts seem small or insignificant, God can use them in extraordinary ways. When we place our lives in His hands, He can multiply our gifts to bring hope, healing, and blessings to those around us.

As we begin this new week, let us remember that faith is not about focusing on what we lack, but about trusting in what God can do. May we respond generously to the needs of others, share with joyful hearts, and believe that God's grace is always more than enough. When we offer our little with love, God can accomplish far more than we could ever imagine.

With grateful hearts, we joyfully celebrate Altar Servers Month 2026, a special time to recognize the dedication, faith, and commitment of every altar server who faithfully serves God and His Church.

Being an altar server is more than wearing a vestment or assisting during the Holy Mass. It is a sacred calling to serve Christ at His altar with humility, reverence, discipline, and love. Through every procession, every prayer, and every act of service, we become instruments of God's presence and witnesses of His love to the community.

As we celebrate this month, we thank all our altar servers for their unwavering dedication, sacrifices, and willingness to answer God's call. Your service is a beautiful reminder that even the simplest acts done with love can glorify God and inspire others to grow in faith.

We also extend our heartfelt gratitude to our parish priest, parents, families, and everyone who continuously guides, supports, and prays for our ministry. Your encouragement strengthens us to remain faithful in our mission.

May this celebration renew our commitment to serve with joyful hearts, deepen our relationship with Christ, and inspire more young people to answer His call. Let us continue to serve not for recognition, but for the greater glory of God.

Bible verse of the week!

Isaiah 60:22 reminds us that God's timing is always perfect. There may be moments when our prayers seem unanswered or our dreams feel delayed, but God is never late. He is working behind the scenes, preparing what is best for us. When the right time comes according to His perfect plan, He will make everything happen. Trust His timing, remain faithful, and never lose hope.
