✨ FEB-IBIG FELLOWSHIP | Barangay Mintac✨

Malipayon ug mapasalamaton kami sa malampusong Feb-ibig Fellowship nga nahitabo sa Barangay Mintac. Bisan dyutay ra ang nagtigum,dako kaayo ang grasya ug kalipay nga among nabatyagan.

Tinuod gayud ang pulong sa Ginoo: “Kay diin ang duha o tulo magtigum sa akong ngalan,anaa ako sa ilang taliwala.” (Mateo 18:20)

Bisan gamay ang grupo,kung nagkahiusa ug nagsalig sa Dios,anaa gayud ang iyahang presensya. Ang paglaum napalig-on,ang pagtuo napabaskog, ug ang Gugma napadayag sa matag usa.

Sa kalibutan nga dali ra kaayo moingon og “I love you,” usahay makalimot ta nga ang tinuod nga gugma dili lang pulong — kundi sakripisyo.

Si Saint Valentine, nga giila isip santo sa gugma, wala nailhan tungod sa romantikong istorya lang. Nailhan siya tungod sa iyang kaisog ug pagpanindigan sa gugma bisan pa sa peligro. Ang iyang kinabuhi nagpahinumdom nato nga ang gugma tinuod kung naa’y pag-alagad, pag-antos, ug paghatag sa kaugalingon.
Sama sa giingon sa 1 Corinthians 13, ang gugma mapailubon, buotan, ug dili makasarili.

Karong adlawa, mangutana ta sa atong kaugalingon: 💭 Ang akong gugma ba puro ra ba emosyon?
💭 O andam ba ko mohatag, mopasaylo, ug mopili sa gugma matag adlaw?
Ang gugma dili perpekto.
Apan kung tinuod, magpabilin bisan lisod.

31 January | Saint John Bosco

John Bosco’s theory of education could well be used in today’s schools. It was a preventive system, rejecting corporal punishment and placing students in surroundings removed from the likelihood of committing sin. He advocated frequent reception of the sacraments of Penance and Holy Communion. He combined catechetical training and fatherly guidance, seeking to unite the spiritual life with one’s work, study and play.

Encouraged during his youth in Turin to become a priest so he could work with young boys, John was ordained in 1841. His service to young people started when he met a poor orphan in Turin, and instructed him in preparation for receiving Holy Communion. He then gathered young apprentices and taught them catechism.
After serving as chaplain in a hospice for working girls, Don Bosco opened the Oratory of St. Francis de Sales for boys. Several wealthy and powerful patrons contributed money, enabling him to provide two workshops for the boys, shoemaking and tailoring.
By 1856, the institution had grown to 150 boys and had added a printing press for publication of religious and catechetical pamphlets. John’s interest in vocational education and publishing justify him as patron of young apprentices and Catholic publishers.
John’s preaching fame spread and by 1850 he had trained his own helpers because of difficulties in retaining young priests. In 1854, he and his followers informally banded together, inspired by Saint Francis de Sales.
With Pope Pius IX’s encouragement, John gathered 17 men and founded the Salesians in 1859. Their activity concentrated on education and mission work. Later, he organized a group of Salesian Sisters to assist girls.

✨ UNANG MONTHLY FELLOWSHIP | JANUARY 31, 2026 ✨

Mapasalamaton kaayo kami sa malampusong unang Monthly Fellowship sa tuig 2026 nga nahitabo karong Enero 31, 2026 sa Kapilya sa Sitio Morning. Gitambongan kini sa mga batan-on gikan sa 2 ka barangay ug 1 ka sitio. Bisan gamay ang numero, dako kaayo ang grasya ug mensahe nga natandog sa matag kasingkasing.

Sa fellowship, gi-emphasize ni Bro. Dodong ang pulong nga “Spiritual Fuel” — usa ka pahinumdom nga kini ang panahon nga mag-reconnect kita ug ma-spiritually recharge pinaagi sa atong Loving God. Kay alang sa youth ministry, ang Diyos mao ang tinubdan sa atong spiritual fuel, aron magpabilin kita nga lig-on ug maglahutay sa pag-alagad.

Sa pag-charge nato sa atong espiritu ngadto sa Ginoo, dili lang nato mapuno ang atong kaugalingong kusog, apan mahimo usab kitang sumbanan sa uban sa pag-alagad sa simbahan ug sa ministry.

Ang atong pag-ampo, pagbasa sa Bibliya, ug aktibong pag-alagad mao ang gasolina nga magpalig-on sa atong kasingkasing, hunahuna, ug buhat.

"Ang kasingkasing nga puno sa Gugma sa Diyos, magdan-ag sa kinabuhi sa uban."

Stop. Read. Reflect. – Proposed Activities 2026:
1. Structuring of New Youth Ministry Sets

Establish new Youth Ministry groups in every barangay covered by our parish.

2. Monthly Youth Fellowship

To be held every third Saturday of the month

Fellowship will begin in January, with Sitio Morning as the first host

Continuation of fellowships in February and March

April: No fellowship (in observance of the Lenten Season and Parish Fiesta)

May: No fellowship (Vicarial Youth Encounter)

Fellowship will resume from July to November
