FLORES DE MAYO — 4TH WEEK 🌸|| Here are the pilgrims for this week’s Flores de Mayo celebration, from May 18-24, 2026. As we continue to honor the Blessed Virgin Mary throughout this month of May, we invite everyone to join us in prayer, devotion, and thanksgiving.

The Holy Rosary will begin at 3:30 PM, followed by the Holy Mass and Flores de Mayo at 4:00 PM. Let us come together as one community in offering flowers, prayers, and love to our Blessed Mother.

SCHOOL SUPPLIES FOR THE CHILDREN || We are currently accepting donations in kind or in cash for the School Supplies for the Children’s Congress 2026, the culmination activity of Flores de Mayo 2026, to be held this coming May 30, 2026 (Saturday) at the Elpidio I. De Dios Elementary School Gymnasium.

Through your generosity, we hope to provide school supplies and simple assistance to the children who will be participating in this meaningful gathering. Any amount or donation, no matter how small, will surely make a difference and bring joy to the young beneficiaries.

For those who wish to donate, you may coordinate with our Parish office or any of the officers of the PYCC. Let us continue to share our blessings and make this celebration more meaningful through acts of kindness and service.

SOLEMNITY OF PENTECOST || Today, we joyfully celebrate the Solemnity of Pentecost, the coming of the Holy Spirit upon the Apostles and the Blessed Virgin Mary. Empowered by the Spirit, the disciples were filled with courage and zeal to proclaim the Good News, marking the birth of the Church.

Pentecost reminds us that the Holy Spirit continues to guide, strengthen, and renew us in our daily lives. Through His gifts and presence, we are called to live in faith, unity, love, and service as true followers of Christ.

As we celebrate this great solemnity, may the fire of the Holy Spirit fill our hearts, deepen our faith, and inspire us to become instruments of peace, hope, and evangelization in our communities.

ST. RITA OF CASCIA || Today, we honor and celebrate the feast of Saint Rita of Cascia, known as the Patroness of Impossible Causes and Difficult Situations. Through her life of patience, suffering, forgiveness, and deep devotion to God, Saint Rita became a shining example of faith and perseverance amidst trials.

Despite the hardships she faced as a wife, mother, widow, and religious sister, she remained steadfast in prayer and entrusted everything to the mercy and will of God. Her life reminds us that with faith, nothing is impossible for the Lord.

May Saint Rita inspire us to remain faithful during times of struggle, to forgive wholeheartedly, and to place our trust completely in God’s plan.

THE ARCHBISHOP IS IN THE HOUSE || Earlier this morning, the Archbishop of Cebu, Most Rev. Alberto S. Uy, DD, shared a breakfast meeting with our Team of Pastors, the OATH Community, and visiting priests from nearby parishes.

The Archbishop is on his way to Tabogon for the Fiesta Pontifical Mass, where he will preside over the solemn celebration. Let us continue to pray for the safety of his travels and for the success of the festivities.

May this visit continue to strengthen the spirit of unity, deepen our faith, and inspire all communities to serve God more faithfully.
