God often reminds us of His unfailing love through the people He places in our lives. In moments when our burdens feel too heavy, He sends family, friends, and even unexpected companions to become instruments of His comfort, strength, and hope. May we never hesitate to lean on one another, for we were created to journey in faith as one community. And as we receive God's love through others, may we also become a source of encouragement, compassion, and light to those who need it most, reflecting His presence in every act of kindness.

𝐈𝐍 𝐏𝐇𝐎𝐓𝐎𝐒 | 𝐋𝐈𝐒𝐓𝐄𝐍𝐈𝐍𝐆 𝐖𝐈𝐓𝐇 𝐎𝐏𝐄𝐍 𝐇𝐄𝐀𝐑𝐓𝐒 💛❤️

On July 11, 2026, the faithful gathered at Saint Augustine of Hippo Parish Church for an evening of Taizé Prayer, a sacred moment of silence, reflection, and worship centered on Christ. Through meditative chants, Scripture, and quiet contemplation, the community came together to embrace the theme, "Listening Church: Hearing God's Voice and the Cries of His People," opening their hearts to God's presence and responding to His call with renewed faith and hope.

As we look back on these moments, may the peace experienced in prayer continue to inspire us to become a Church that listens with compassion, serves with humility, and journeys together in faith. May the light of Christ, encountered in the stillness of this gathering, strengthen us to be instruments of His love and mercy in our families, communities, and beyond.

In the silence of prayer, God continues to speak, not only through His Word but also through the hopes, struggles, and voices of His people. The Parish Youth Coordinating Council–SAHP warmly invites everyone to join the Taizé Prayer on July 11, 2026, at 7:00 PM at Saint Augustine of Hippo Parish. Together, let us gather in a spirit of peace and reflection as we meditate on this year's theme, "Listening Church: Hearing God's Voice and the Cries of His People."

Come and experience an evening of prayer through sacred songs, Scripture, silence, and contemplation. As one community of faith, let us open our hearts to God's presence, deepen our relationship with Him, and be renewed to listen with compassion and respond with love to the needs of others. Your commitment, responsibility, and unwavering service continue to be a valuable contribution to the ministry. Through your hard work and dedication, you help ensure that every task entrusted to you is carried out with integrity and excellence, making you an important part of our PYCC family.

Laughter, excitement, and teamwork fill the venue as the young delegates of the Children’s Congress 2026 take part in the fun and challenging game of 𝐊𝐚𝐝𝐚𝐧𝐠-𝐊𝐚𝐝𝐚𝐧𝐠. Through this enjoyable activity, the children show not only their energy and skills but also the importance of balance, cooperation, and determination.

As they cheer for one another and enjoy every moment of the game, the delegates are reminded that activities like these help build friendship, unity, and confidence among the youth. Beyond the fun and competition, this game encourages every child to work together, support one another, and enjoy the spirit of camaraderie.

With joy, confidence, and hearts full of faith, the young delegates of the Children’s Congress 2026 take part in the Delegation Presentations as they proudly share their creativity, talents, and love for the Lord. Each presentation becomes a beautiful expression of unity and participation as every group offers their best before the community.

This special part of the celebration gives our children the chance to showcase not only their gifts and talents but also the values of teamwork, friendship, and faith that bring them together. With joyful hearts and deep devotion, the children of the Children’s Congress 2026 take part in the 𝐑𝐢𝐭𝐨. This special part of our celebration is a simple but meaningful way of showing love and honor to our Blessed Mother Mary. As each letter of AVE MARIA is offered, the children join together in prayer and thanksgiving for Mama Mary’s love and guidance.

Through this beautiful tradition, our young faithful are reminded of Mary’s faith, humility, and loving “yes” to God. Her example continues to guide us closer to Jesus and teaches us to trust in the Lord with all our hearts.

May this moment help our children grow in their love for Mama Mary and inspire them to live with faith, kindness, and hope each day. As we continue our celebration of Flores de Mayo and the Children’s Congress, may our Blessed Mother always guide our young delegates as they walk with Christ and serve with joyful hearts.

With joyful hearts and grateful spirits, the participants of the Children’s Congress 2026 gather in prayer and worship through the celebration of the Holy Mass presided over by 𝐑𝐞𝐯. 𝐅𝐫. 𝐑𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐫𝐝𝐨 𝐁. 𝐂𝐚ñ𝐞𝐭𝐞. This sacred gathering reminds our young faithful that at the center of every celebration is Christ, who calls each child to grow in faith, love, and holiness.

Through the proclamation of God’s Word and the celebration of the Holy Eucharist, the children are given the opportunity to deepen their relationship with the Lord and reflect on His presence in their lives. As they pray together as one community, they are encouraged to become witnesses of faith, hope, and compassion in their homes, schools, and communities.

May this Eucharistic celebration continue to inspire our young delegates to walk closely with God and to embrace their role as active members of the Church. The spirit of learning and friendly competition comes alive as participants of the Children’s Congress 2026 engage in the exciting Quiz Bowl competition. With enthusiasm and confidence, our young delegates put their knowledge, critical thinking, and teamwork to the test as they answer questions that challenge their understanding and inspire them to learn even more.

This activity encourages children to develop their intellectual abilities while fostering camaraderie, sportsmanship, and a deeper appreciation for learning. Beyond the competition, the Quiz Bowl serves as an opportunity for participants to gain new knowledge, build confidence, and celebrate the value of education in their growth as young leaders of faith.

As the Children’s Congress continues, may these young minds remain eager to learn, discover, and use their knowledge for the good of their communities and the Church. Through activities like these, we continue to nurture a generation that is both intellectually empowered and firmly rooted in faith.
