SEVEN WORDS. ONE LOVE. โœ๏ธ

Though this post comes a little late, the message of the cross remains right on time.

Last April 3, 2026, we gathered in solemn reflection for Good Friday: The Seven Last Words of Jesus Christโ€”a powerful reminder of His unending mercy, love, and sacrifice.

From โ€œFather, forgive themโ€ฆโ€ to โ€œIt is finished,โ€ each word echoed grace in suffering and hope in the midst of pain. Through the heartfelt messages shared by our speakers, we were led deeper into understanding Christโ€™s loveโ€”a love that forgives, restores, and redeems.

๐Ÿ•Š๏ธ โ€œFather, forgive them, for they do not know what they are doing.โ€ (Luke 23:34)
A love that chooses mercy.

๐Ÿ•Š๏ธ โ€œTruly I tell you, today you will be with me in paradise.โ€ (Luke 23:43)
A promise of salvation.

๐Ÿ•Š๏ธ โ€œWoman, here is your sonโ€ฆ Here is your mother.โ€ (John 19:26โ€“27)
A reminder of care and connection.

๐Ÿ•Š๏ธ โ€œMy God, my God, why have you forsaken me?โ€ (Matthew 27:46)
A cry that reflects our humanity.

A glimpse of His suffering.

Victory is complete.

A surrender rooted in trust.

We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of our sister in Christ, ๐Œ๐ฌ. ๐‚๐จ๐ง๐œ๐ก๐ข๐ญ๐š ๐€๐ง๐ฅ๐ฎ๐ฒ๐จ๐ ๐๐ข๐ง๐š๐ญ๐š๐œ, on March 30, 2026. Her unwavering dedication and commitment to serving the Lord, through both her highest and lowest moments will serve as an example for individual and a group and this will forever remain in our hearts.

As Genesis 3:19 reminds us, โ€˜๐น๐‘œ๐‘Ÿ ๐‘‘๐‘ข๐‘ ๐‘ก ๐‘ฆ๐‘œ๐‘ข ๐‘Ž๐‘Ÿ๐‘’, ๐‘Ž๐‘›๐‘‘ ๐‘ก๐‘œ ๐‘‘๐‘ข๐‘ ๐‘ก ๐‘ฆ๐‘œ๐‘ข ๐‘ค๐‘–๐‘™๐‘™ ๐‘Ÿ๐‘’๐‘ก๐‘ข๐‘Ÿ๐‘›.โ€™

2026 ESSA Meeting โ€“ Where Churches and Ministries Connect.

February 14, 2026, brought ESSA members together at UCCP Ugalingan for a productive gathering. Rev. Belly Domingo led the Bible Study and Reflection (BTR), setting a heartfelt tone for the day. Reports were shared from eight local churches โ€“ Manobo Village, Kitulaan, Kimadzil, Carmen, Ugalingan, Tunggol, Bannawag, and Kabacan โ€“ alongside updates from key committees: Finance Treasurer, CWA, UCM, CYAF, and CYF.
