Maligayang Buwan ng Wika! 🇵🇭🎉

The young women of Carigara 1st ward showcased their culinary creativity and cultural pride in celebrating Buwan ng Wika by cooking famous Filipino kakanin.

The three inspiring groups prepared their own classic local treats:

Builders of Faith – Banana Cue🍌

Messengers of Hope – Palitaw ⚪

Gatherers of Light – Lupak 🥔

This activity served as a reminder of how our traditions and faith bring us closer together.

The youth of Carigara 1st Ward gathered at the church for an engaging activity dedicated to spiritual growth and learning. Through different stations challenging their knowledge of the gospel, the youth deepened their understanding and strengthened their faith in our Savior, Jesus Christ. 📖📚

An evening full of warmth and welcome as church leaders along with the youth, visited Villabona family at their home. The evening was full of spirit, joy, and meaningful fellowship, gathering in faith and love towards our local members. 🏠

𝗟𝗢𝗢𝗞 || Elders Qourum service project in action

Members of the Elders Quorum spent two days building a temporary shelter for Sister Makabenta, working side-by-side, ensuring a safe space for her.

As Elder Koichi Aoyagi once reminded us, "May we follow the counsel and example of the prophet and each day seek out those in need, that we might 𝗯𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗱𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗟𝗼𝗿𝗱 𝗶𝗻 𝗵𝗲𝗹𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘀𝗮𝘃𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗛𝗶𝘀 𝗰𝗵𝗶𝗹𝗱𝗿𝗲𝗻,".

We thank the Elders Qourum for their mighty help, and hope for a strong restart for Sis. Makabenta. 💪

A warm home visit greeted the missionaries and primary leaders as they visit the following: Dabon family, Cañega, Brier, and Delantar primaries. These visits encourage members in bringing Christ-like love and fellowship into the hearts and homes of our church community.

On the same afternoon of July 11, 2026, we congratulate our wonderful newlyweds, Bro. Gili Dabon and Sis. Genelyn Lerios Dabon.

We are so happy to witness the beginning of your forever. May your marriage be blessed with a love that grows stronger with each passing day, and the presence of the Holy Ghost to guide you both in your choices as a married couple.

𝗟𝗢𝗢𝗞 || Sis. Genelyn Dabon's baptism

On July 11, 2026, Sister Dabon took her steps into the waters of baptism. A powerful testament to faith, and lifelong commitment to walking in the light of the Savior. 🤍✨

She was also confirmed a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day-Saints and received the gift of the Holy Ghost the following day during the sacrament meeting.

The Carigara 1st Ward leaders, missionaries, and members recently gathered for a special evening of fellowship, visiting the Tahum Youth and the Dabun Family for an inspiring Family Home Evening. Through these simple visits faith is nurtured, and the love of Jesus Christ is shared one home at a time.
