𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐂𝐡𝐮𝐫𝐜𝐡 𝐨𝐟 𝐉𝐞𝐬𝐮𝐬 𝐂𝐡𝐫𝐢𝐬𝐭 𝐀𝐧𝐧𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐜𝐞𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐀𝐝𝐝𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐨𝐟 𝟓𝟓 𝐍𝐞𝐰 𝐌𝐢𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬 𝐢𝐧 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔, 𝐈𝐧𝐜𝐥𝐮𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐅𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐢𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐏𝐡𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐩𝐩𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐬

At a time when increasing numbers of young members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints continue to choose to serve full-time missions, the Church announced plans to create 55 new missions worldwide, effective July 1, 2026.

Among the newly created missions are five in the Philippines:
1. Philippines Lingayen Mission
2. Philippines Lipa Mission
3. Philippines Ormoc Mission
4. Philippines Ozamiz Mission
5. Philippines Puerto Princesa Mission

These new missions will help accommodate the growing number of missionaries being called and will allow them to better support the increasing number of congregations throughout the world.

The new missions will help accommodate a growing number of missionaries already called and will allow missionaries to better support the increasing number of congregations throughout the world.

The 55 new missions, which will be created by adjusting the boundaries of existing missions, will bring the number of Church missions around the world to 506.

With tender hearts, we bid farewell to President Russell M. Nelson, a prophet of love, faith, with unwavering devotion to the Savior. His life of service and testimony will continue to guide us heavenward.

With sorrow we announce that Russell M. Nelson, beloved President of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, has died. He was 101 — the oldest president in the history of the Church.

Carigara 1st Ward celebrated National Family Week 2025 on September 21-27,2025 with a devotional, Ward Family home evening, heartwarming program featuring youth presentation, inspiring messages from leaders, and a week full of fun and unity through volleyball, Family Feud, and creative slogan and poster making.
