Our youth members had a meaningful and productive day yesterday as they participated in the Marian Gems of Carigara and PYM activities, held at Holy Cross College of Carigara, Incorporated. Whether expressing their devotion through art in the Poster Making Contest or embodying grace and intellect in the Selection of Reyna Elena, every moment was offered for the greater glory of God.

Yesterday, May 10, 2026, was a day full of blessings as the youth members of SRLYO came together to celebrate the Holy Eucharist and were inspired by the words of Archbishop John F. Du, D.D. during his Visita Pastoral to Holy Cross Parish.
Thank you Archbishop for being a shepherd who leads us back to the heart of the Father.

Today’s celebration of Flores De Mayo was once again filled with faith, joy, and devotion as the community gathered together to honor the Blessed Virgin Mary. From heartfelt prayers to shared smiles and meaningful moments, the day reminded us of the beauty of serving God as one united family. We were also blessed to hold our Salve today, making the celebration even more special as voices and hearts came together in prayer and praise. Through every activity, we continue to strengthen our faith and deepen the bond of friendship and service within our youth and community. 🙏💓

IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT!!! 📢📢📢

It has recently come to our attention that there are concerns about the youth ministry's funds. We would like to clarify that the current youth ministry does not have any official funds, as we did not solicit any contributions from the residents of our barangay.

Furthermore, any materials, decorations, equipment, or purchases that may have been seen and used within the chapel were acquired solely through the personal contributions and voluntary efforts of the youth members. These were given wholeheartedly in dedication, service, and support for the chapel and its activities.

With this, we kindly ask anyone who has concerns or questions regarding the chapel or the youth ministry to approach any of our youth members directly so we can properly clarify any misunderstandings. We also respectfully ask everyone to avoid spreading rumors or unverified information.

The day was filled with heartfelt prayers, joyful smiles, and meaningful moments as the youth gathered to honor the Blessed Virgin Mary with love and devotion. Through every activity and shared experience, we are reminded of the importance of faith, unity, and serving God with sincere hearts. It is truly inspiring to see the community come together in celebration and strengthen our spiritual bond as one family in Christ. 🙏📿

Our fifth day of Flores de Mayo was a wonderful testimony of faith and community with the warmth of our flower offerings, the wisdom of catechism, the unity of our procession, and the inspiring growth in our youth formation.
Even without a snack sponsor for today’s activities, our hearts were full as we saw how the Lord continues to provide everything we really need to give honor to the Blessed Virgin Mary.
We offer our deepest gratitude to the Almighty Father for showering us with His abundant blessings and for showing us that His grace is always sufficient; through His providence, we were able to gather in joy and service for His greater glory.
