The countdown starts NOW! 31 days 'til the centennial celebration of UCCP Carigara!
The United Church of Christ in the Philippines – Carigara, Leyte is about to celebrate 100 years of [her] meaningful and fruitful existence from the establishment of being a community of faith – a set apart body of Christ – called to proclaim the Gospel of Jesus Christ through tripartite ministry which is preaching, teaching and healing. Just like the followers of Jesus, who is and was united in their mission and ministry, from therein they established themselves as “Followers of the Way,” to “Christianity,” and so is the Carigara Church from its original tradition named as “Carigara Evangelical Church” to her present name, “UCCP Carigara.”
The celebration will commence on September 16-18, 2022 (Friday to Sunday), with the closing worship at Church led by the invited resource speaker Rev. Haniel Joses Taganas from UCCP Davao City.
