The Sacred Heart Seminary community joins in prayer as we mourn the passing of Dr. Leatriz "Letty" N. Mazo, who faithfully served as a professor in the College Department from 1991 to 2020.
For twenty-nine years, she dedicated herself to the intellectual formation of seminarians, generously sharing her knowledge, wisdom, and passion for teaching. Through her steadfast commitment as an educator, she became a part of the formative journey of many men who now faithfully serve the Church as priests.
The Seminary remains deeply grateful for her years of devoted service and the lasting impact she made on our institution and its alumni.
As we commend her soul to the loving mercy of God, let us remember her in our prayers.
