Abide in the Vine, Be the Church

Abiding in Jesus means abiding in His Word.

“Kung nananatili kayo sa akin at nananatili sa inyo ang aking mga salita…” — Juan 15:7

Abiding in the Word and abiding in His love means knowing Him.

Hindi natin tunay na mamahalin ang isang tao kung hindi natin siya kilala, o kung wala man lang tayong desire na mas makilala pa siya.

Ganun din sa relationship natin with God.

Let's spend time in His Word, just like how we spend time conversing with our loved ones. Kapag mahalaga sa atin ang isang tao, gusto natin siyang makausap, makilala, at maintindihan pa nang higit.

Our goal is not just to know more about God, but to know Him more—hindi lang intellectually, hindi lang puro knowledge, but also relationally.

“I have commanded you: Love one another.”

Jesus is the True Vine, and we may all be different branches, pero we are all connected to the same Vine. We are part of one Body.

We are the Body of Christ.
We are the Church.

Kaya ang pagiging Christian ay hindi lang tungkol sa pagiging nasa church. Hindi lang ito tungkol sa pag-attend ng Sunday Service.

We are called to serve God and serve one another.

Kaya sana maging encouragement and reminder ito sa ating lahat na ipanalangin natin na magkaroon tayo ng heart for His people—a heart like Jesus.

Na matuto tayong magmahal, maglingkod, at magkaroon ng malasakit sa isa't isa, just as Jesus did.

Abide in the Vine. Be the Church.
