𝗙𝗟𝗢𝗥𝗘𝗦 𝗗𝗘 𝗠𝗔𝗬𝗢 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 | 𝗢𝗣𝗘𝗡𝗜𝗡𝗚

To officially begin the Flores de Mayo, the PYCC prepared a short program with the participation of the nearby chapels — San Francisco Javier - Bacsije, San Vicente Ferrer - Poste, and Santa Trinidad - Abugon.

The program included a brief orientation on the significance of Flores de Mayo, followed by an interactive trivia where attendees actively participated and enjoyed. It not only brought fun but also deepened everyone’s understanding of the celebration.

We warmly invite everyone, especially the children, to join and participate in our daily Flores de Mayo activities as we offer our prayers, flowers, and devotion in honor of our Blessed Virgin Mary.

𝐿𝑂𝑂𝐾 : On April 30, 2026, members of the 𝑷𝒂𝒓𝒊𝒔𝒉 𝒀𝒐𝒖𝒕𝒉 𝑪𝒐𝒐𝒓𝒅𝒊𝒏𝒂𝒕𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝑪𝒐𝒖𝒏𝒄𝒊𝒍 (𝑷𝒀𝑪𝑪) of Our Lady of Lourdes Parish went around Ocaña to invite children to participate in the parish’s daily Flores de Mayo this May.

The youth-led initiative covered four areas — Boundary, Vicinity of the church, Bacsije, and Purok 3, as part of PYCC’s effort to encourage greater participation among children in this traditional Marian devotion.

Flores de Mayo is a month-long Catholic practice held every May, where children offer flowers to the Blessed Virgin Mary, accompanied by catechism sessions and the celebration of the Holy Mass.

Activities are scheduled as follows:
🕒 2:00–3:00 PM — Catechism
💐 3:00–4:30 PM — Flores de Mayo
💒 5:00 PM — Holy Mass

The PYCC of Our Lady of Lourdes Parish invites parents and guardians to encourage their children to join and take part in a meaningful and faith-filled celebration throughout the month.

📍 All activities will be held at 𝑶𝒖𝒓 𝑳𝒂𝒅𝒚 𝒐𝒇 𝑳𝒐𝒖𝒓𝒅𝒆𝒔 𝑷𝒂𝒓𝒊𝒔𝒉 𝑪𝒉𝒖𝒓𝒄𝒉.

HALAD SINULOG SA PAROKYA 2026 | HIGHLIGHTS

Here are the highlights from the vibrant celebration of Halad Sinulog sa Parish 2026 held last April 28, 2026—a joyful and faith-filled gathering of our community.

This celebration was participated in by the five barangays under the parish: Brgy. Ocaña, Brgy. Napo , Brgy. Abugon, Brgy. Sayao, and Brgy. Mangyan. Each barangay showcased their talents and devotion through their captivating presentations in honor of Señor Santo Niño.

After all the performances, the celebration culminated in a lively Sinulog Dance Finale, where all parishioners joyfully danced together—joined by our beloved Parish Priest, Rev. Fr. Joeryll S. Chan—a beautiful expression of faith, unity, and joy within the parish.

FIESTA SEÑOR SA PAROKYA 2026 | Fiesta Day

On April 28, 2026, the parishioners were gathered in the parish in solemn celebration of the Fiesta Day Mass in honor of Señor Santo Niño. The Eucharistic celebration was presided over by Rev. Fr. Mark Anthony Tampos, OSA.

In his homily, he reflected deeply on the central call of Señor Santo Niño: the call to love. He emphasized that love must be the foundation of every heart and every community, for it is through love that we become truly united with God and with the Holy Child. In the absence of love, pride, jealousy, and unkind words take root—causing division within families and within the community of believers.

He further reminded the faithful that through genuine love, one learns to forgive, to grow in humility, and to embody the virtues that shine forth in the life of the Balaang Bata.

May we continue to live out this call to love in our daily lives, reflecting the image of Señor Santo Niño in all that we do.
