Today, June 21, 2024, marks a significant milestone for the Archdiocesan Shrine of St. Catherine of Alexandria as it proudly celebrates its 425th founding anniversary, showcasing a rich history and enduring legacy.

Over the past nine days, in celebration of this milestone, we have reflected through novena masses, revisiting the history that shaped the present-day Church of Carcar and honoring the legacy it has bestowed upon us.

This momentous event reminds us of the beauty of our own history. Pope John Paul II reminds us that our church "is valued and cherished from the past, gives meaning to the present, and inspires future generations."

Let us unite to celebrate this day as a testament to the enduring power of faith—faith that was planted in our parish 425 years ago and has since grown into the faith, hope to look forward on strengthening our devotion, and the love that was embedded in the hearts of every Carcaranon.

MISA DE GALLO 2023 SCHEDULE

Maayong Adlaw mga Higala!

Maayong pagbati kaninyo niining balaang panahon sa Adbiyento! Sa pag-ampo ug pag-andam sa atong kasing-kasing alang sa pagsaulog sa kapanganakan sa atong Ginoo, kalipay namo nga ianunsyo ang schedule alang sa Misa De Gallo.

Ang Misa De Gallo, o mas naila sa tawag nga Simbang Gabi, usa ka ginahandom nga tradisyon sa Pasko sa mga Pilipino nga nag-umpisa sa pagmugna sa pasko. Kini usa ka panahon diin kita magtipon-tipon isip usa ka komunidad sa pag-ampo, paghunahuna, ug malipayong paghulat sa pag-abot sa atong Manunubos.

Lugar: Nuestra Senora De Regla Chapel / MOAG Chapel

Gitanyag namo kaninyo ang labing mga imbitasyon sa pagsimba niining mga maayong kaadlawan sa pagsaulog sa Misa De Gallo, pinaagi sa pagsamok sa atong mga kasing-kasing ug espiritu sa pag-ampo. Magtipon kita isip usa ka komunidad aron mag-ambit sa kalipay ug paglaum nga gihatag sa pagkatawo sa atong Manluluwas.

RONMARTH REYSAN "RR" CUIZON CABASE, taga Can-asujan, Carcar City, ug lumad nga taga Carcar, didto sa Cebu Metropolitan Cathedral.

Busa, atong duyogan ug ubanan ang atong pinalanggang taga Carcar sa iyang dako nga gasa gikan sa Diyos!

Dako kaayong pasalamat sa Imahe ni Santa Catalina de Alejandria sa pagbisita sa among Birhen sa Regla Chapel- Moag, Guadalupe ug sa paghatag ug nindot nga panahon sa unang adlaw hangtod sa katapusang adlaw sa Visita Patronal.

Karong adlawa gipahigayon ang alas 10:00 sa buntag na Santos nga Misa isip panamilit sa paghatod sa Imahe ni Santa Catalina de Alejandria sa Simbahan sa Birhen sa Guadalupe, Proper Guadalupe.

Gipanguluhan kini ni Rev. Fr. Wenefredo Q. Cueva, Members of Confradia de Catalina, Worship Committee, Parish Pastoral Council (PPC), Parish Finance Council, Chapel Federation, Cantores De Regla Choir ug sa mga Zone 5 Chapel Leaders, Officers and Members.
