For 2,000 years, Christians have disagreed on the meaning of many biblical passages. That's why thousands of denominations exist, all claiming that the Bible supports their position.

When Catholics defend doctrines such as the Eucharist, Baptism, Confession, Apostolic Succession, or the Communion of Saints, we are not rejecting Scripture.

We are rejecting interpretations of Scripture that contradict the historic faith handed down from the Apostles.

The Bible is infallible.

That is why Christ gave us not only a book, but also a Church with a teaching Authority to preserve and teach the truth.

"I am not alone, because Jesus is with me, and with Him I fear nothing."
- St. Faustina

St. Faustina wrote these words during a time of suffering, misunderstanding, and spiritual trials. She was not saying that life was easy or that she never felt afraid. She was saying that the presence of Jesus was greater than her fears.

Many of us know what it feels like to feel alone. We worry about our family, our health, our future, or things we cannot control. But the Christian life reminds us that we do not walk through any of it by ourselves. Jesus promised, โ€œI am with you alwaysโ€ (Matthew 28:20).

Faith does not always remove fear. Sometimes it changes who stands beside us in the middle of it. St. Faustina learned to trust Jesus even when she could not see what was ahead. That trust gave her peace.

The same invitation is given to us. We may not know what tomorrow holds, but we know Who walks with us today.

๐Ÿ’ฌ What fear would lose its power if you truly believed Jesus was standing beside you right now?

Someone you know may need this reminder today.

FAITH ALONE(SOLA FIDE) Vs ST. JAMES THE JUST
The Bible never teaches salvation by โ€˜faith aloneโ€™; in fact, the only time the phrase appears in Scripture, it is explicitly rejected by St. James:
โ€˜a person is justified by works and not by faith aloneโ€™ -James 2:24.

James 2:24 teaches that faith alone is not enough for salvation. True faith is alive and shown through works, which are faith working through love.

This is not a contradiction with Ephesians 2:8-9, which says salvation is a gift of God received through faith, not by our works. Paul emphasizes that we cannot earn salvation by deeds alone, while James emphasizes that authentic faith naturally produces works. So, salvation is by grace through faith, and that faith is made real and alive through love in action.

Being Catholic is not just about belonging to a religion, it is about belonging to the Church founded by Jesus Christ and guided by the Holy Spirit throughout the centuries.

Jesus said, "I will build my Church" (Matthew 16:18). As Catholics, we belong to the Church established by Christ Himself and entrusted to the Apostles.

From the Apostles to modern-day saints, the Church has raised up men and women whose lives reflect the holiness and power of Jesus Christ.

Being Catholic is a blessing. We have Christ's Church, the Sacraments, the Blessed Mother, the communion of saints, and a rich faith passed down from the Apostles. These are just some of the many reasons to be proud of being Catholic.
