๐Ÿ’ŽThe 15-minute Meditation
Second Joyful Mystery: The Visitation of Our Lady (Let us open our hearts to the voice of Mary)
First Five Consecutive Saturdays Devotion ~ 1 of 5

Mama Mary appeared with Sto. Niรฑo on December 10, 1925 (Centennary celebration come December) to the eldest seer of Fatima, Lucia, who was then a Dorothean Sister postulant in Pontevedra, Spain. Mama Mary promised to those who faithfully practice the First Five Saturdays devotion: โ€œI will assist them at the hour of death with all the graces necessary for their salvation.โ€
What must be done to fulfill what Mama Mary requested?
1. Go to Confession: This should occur near the First Saturday, possibly either within 20 days before or after, as long as Holy Communion is received in a state of grace.
2. Receive Holy Communion: This must be done on the very First Saturday itself (not a day before or after) while in a state of grace.
3. Recite five decades of the Rosary: This involves vocally praying the Rosary.
4. Meditate for fifteen minutes on the mysteries of the Rosary: This meditation is separate from the Rosary recitation and involves contemplating one [or more] of the mysteries to keep Our Lady company.
All four conditions must be performed WITH THE INTENTION of making reparation to the Immaculate Heart of Mary for offenses against her. This devotion is fulfilled by repeating these steps for five consecutive months.
