From the time of the Parish Youth Council up to today’s Parish Office on Youth Apostolate (POYA), the youth of St. Joseph the Worker Parish – Carasi have always been part of the Church’s life and mission.
Before, many young people were very active in church activities like choir, altar serving, catechism, recollections, outreach programs, and other parish services. Their faith, unity, and dedication became a big inspiration to the whole community.
Today, while only some remain active in parish involvement, the spirit of youth ministry continues to live on. And many of those who were once active youth members have now become successful in their chosen paths—some are professionals, workers, and leaders in their own communities. Their achievements are a fruit of the values they learned in the Church: faith, discipline, service, and love for others.
This is not just a memory of the past, but a reminder that the Church still needs the youth—not only for the future, but also for today. May the next generation continue the legacy of faith, service, and leadership started by those before us.
