Really?
So youâre telling me one meal a week is enough to keep you alive?
You attend church once a week, but you ignore God six days after, and you call that relationship? Thatâs not devotion. Thatâs convenience.
Sunday worship is not a substitute for daily surrender. Itâs a gathering, not your entire walk. You can sit in a church and still be spiritually starving.
You donât grow by hearing the Word once a week. You grow by living it every single day.
Joshua 1:8 says to meditate on the Word day and night, not once a week when itâs comfortable.
Matthew 4:4 says, âMan shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that comes from the mouth of God.â
Not weekly. Daily.
Letâs be honest, this mindset is not hunger for God. Itâs laziness dressed as religion.
You donât skip devotion because youâre busy. You skip it because God is not your priority.
And thatâs dangerous.
Because the moment you stop feeding your spirit daily, your flesh starts taking over quietly⌠slowly⌠completely.
Church attendance doesnât replace intimacy with God.
It exposes whether you even have it.
If your only connection with God is on Sunday, then you donât have a relationship, you have a schedule.
And God is not looking for weekly visitors.
He is looking for daily seekers.
So ask yourself again,
Is God just part of your routine⌠or the center of your life?
