Dear Youth,

𝐏𝐞𝐚𝐜𝐞 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐆𝐫𝐞𝐞𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐬 𝐟𝐫𝐨𝐦 𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐏𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐬𝐡!

In every celebration of the Holy Mass, the altar becomes the sacred place where heaven meets earth. And at the heart of this sacred mystery are young people who have answered the call to serve with humility, reverence, and joy. They are our Altar Servers.

Today, we extend this same invitation to you.

𝙒𝙝𝙮 𝙖𝙧𝙚 𝙬𝙚 𝙞𝙣𝙫𝙞𝙩𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙮𝙤𝙪?
𝘉𝘦𝘤𝘢𝘶𝘴𝘦 𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘢𝘳𝘦 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘩𝘰𝘱𝘦 𝘰𝘧 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘊𝘩𝘶𝘳𝘤𝘩.

𝐎𝐮𝐫 𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐥𝐝 𝐭𝐨𝐝𝐚𝐲 𝐧𝐞𝐞𝐝𝐬 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐠 𝐦𝐞𝐧 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐰𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐧 𝐰𝐡𝐨 𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐰𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐨 𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐜𝐥𝐨𝐬𝐞 𝐭𝐨 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐋𝐨𝐫𝐝, 𝐭𝐨 𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐧 𝐝𝐢𝐬𝐜𝐢𝐩𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐞, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐭𝐨 𝐠𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐢𝐫 𝐭𝐢𝐦𝐞 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐬𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐠𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐦𝐬𝐞𝐥𝐯𝐞𝐬. To be an altar server is not only about carrying the candles, holding the book, or assisting the priest. It is about drawing closer to Christ in the Eucharist. It is about forming your heart in prayer, respect, obedience, and sacrifice.

Our Lord Jesus said:
"𝖂𝖍𝖔𝖊𝖛𝖊𝖗 𝖜𝖎𝖘𝖍𝖊𝖘 𝖙𝖔 𝖇𝖊 𝖌𝖗𝖊𝖆𝖙 𝖆𝖒𝖔𝖓𝖌 𝖞𝖔𝖚 𝖘𝖍𝖆𝖑𝖑 𝖇𝖊 𝖞𝖔𝖚𝖗 𝖘𝖊𝖗𝖛𝖆𝖓𝖙" - 𝕸𝖆𝖙𝖙𝖍𝖊𝖜 20:26

𝐀𝐭 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐚𝐥𝐭𝐚𝐫, 𝐰𝐞 𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐭𝐫𝐮𝐭𝐡. 𝐖𝐞 𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐧 𝐭𝐨 𝐥𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐧, 𝐭𝐨 𝐰𝐚𝐢𝐭, 𝐭𝐨 𝐬𝐞𝐫𝐯𝐞 𝐪𝐮𝐢𝐞𝐭𝐥𝐲, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐭𝐨 𝐩𝐮𝐭 𝐆𝐨𝐝 𝐟𝐢𝐫𝐬𝐭. You may not always be seen by many, but God sees every faithful act of service. That is what makes it truly great. This ministry will shape your character. It will teach you responsibility not only during Mass, but in school, in your family, and in your community. It will give you brothers and sisters in faith who will walk with you.

𝗧𝗼 𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗽𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀, 𝗴𝘂𝗮𝗿𝗱𝗶𝗮𝗻𝘀, 𝗴𝗼𝗱𝗽𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗽𝗮𝗿𝗶𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗲𝗿𝘀: 𝘄𝗲 𝗮𝘀𝗸 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗼𝘂𝗿𝗮𝗴𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘀𝘂𝗽𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁. 𝗣𝗹𝗲𝗮𝘀𝗲 𝗵𝗲𝗹𝗽 𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝘁𝗵 𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗽𝗼𝗻𝗱 𝘁𝗼 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗰𝗮𝗹𝗹. 𝗕𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗺 𝘁𝗼 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴. 𝗣𝗿𝗮𝘆 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗺. 𝘈𝘯𝘥 𝘵𝘰 𝘰𝘶𝘳 𝘥𝘦𝘢𝘳 𝘺𝘰𝘶𝘵𝘩: 𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘴 𝘪𝘴 𝘺𝘰𝘶𝘳 𝘮𝘰𝘮𝘦𝘯𝘵 𝘵𝘰 𝘴𝘢𝘺, "𝘏𝘦𝘳𝘦 𝘐 𝘢𝘮, 𝘓𝘰𝘳𝘥. 𝘚𝘦𝘯𝘥 𝘮𝘦." Do not be afraid. You will not be alone. Together, we will grow in faith, in friendship, and in service.

Choose Ministry Over Endless Screen Time

Dear Parents and Youth,

In a world where many young people spend countless hours on online games, social media, and digital distractions, let us not forget that our hearts are made for something greater.

The Catholic Church invites our youth to discover their talents, deepen their faith, build meaningful friendships, and serve God through the various ministries of the Church. While games may entertain for a moment, ministry forms character, strengthens values, and leads young people closer to Christ.

Today, many schools face challenges involving bullying, peer pressure, cyberbullying, mental health struggles, substance abuse, violence, excessive gadget use, and the weakening of family and spiritual values. More than ever, our youth need guidance, purpose, and a strong faith foundation.

Let us encourage our children not only to excel academically but also to grow spiritually. The Church is not merely a place of worship; it is a home where young people can learn leadership, responsibility, service, and love for God and neighbor.

🙏 Give your child the opportunity to serve. 🙏 Help them discover their vocation. 🙏 Guide them closer to Christ.

Less screen time. More prayer. More service. More purpose.
