๐Ÿ“ข Calling all generous hearts for our Children's Congress 2026.

"Like flowers blooming in May, Godโ€™s blessings shower upon us when we open our hearts to give."

Peace be with you all!

As we look around our beautiful community today, surrounded by the vibrant colors and blessings of our Flores de Mayo season, we are reminded of the greatest gift God has entrusted to us: our children. They are the blooming flowers of our parish, the joy of our homes, and the bright future of our Church.

On May 31, 2026, our parish, The Holy Name of Jesus Parish will be celebrating our annual Childrenโ€™s Congress. This special day is entirely dedicated to filling their hearts with faith, love, and community spirit. But to make this congress a beautiful reality, we cannot do it alone. Today, we are "Calling All Hearts" to open your hands in generosity.
We are still opening our doors for donations, specifically focusing on school supplies. We are asking for basic tools that can empower a child's future:

*Notebooks to write down their dreams,
*Pens, pencils, and crayons to color their world,
*And other essential classroom items that will help them succeed.

If you are able, we also welcome monetary gifts to help cover expenses for their meals and activities.

Remember: Every gift, big or small, makes a difference! What might seem like a simple notebook or pencil to us is a badge of hope and a message of love to a child who needs it.

You may drop off your donations at our parish office The Most Holy Name of Jesus Parish. Let us come together as one family under the mantle of Mama Mary, sharing God's love through our generosity.

Thank you so much for your endless support of our children, and for helping us build a brighter tomorrow! May God bless us all!

Flores de Mayo or "Flowers of May" and sometimes called *Flores de Maria* - is a month-long Filipino tradition held in May honoring the Blessed Virgin Mary with daily prayers, offering of flowers, singing of hymns and catholic teachings (catechism).
Itโ€™s a devotion to the Blessed Virgin Mary, a pure offering of love from her Filipino children.
Flores de Mayo is more than a religious observance. Itโ€™s a celebration of who we are as a people. It reflects our love for beauty, our deep spirituality, and our strength as a community.

Sanglit, tana kita pag-urupod paghalad hin bukad kan Maria! ๐Ÿ™
