𝐏𝐀𝐍𝐀𝐆𝐇𝐈𝐔𝐒𝐀 | JOINT YOUTH FELLOWSHIP

Last Sunday, youths from different local churches came together at 𝐂𝐥𝐚𝐫𝐤𝐟𝐢𝐞𝐥𝐝, 𝐏𝐚𝐦𝐩𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐚 for a meaningful joint fellowship centered on one beautiful message - 𝐏𝐀𝐍𝐀𝐆𝐇𝐈𝐔𝐒𝐀: 𝐔𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐚𝐬 𝐎𝐧𝐞 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐂𝐡𝐫𝐢𝐬𝐭.

Just like strands of a rope become stronger when tied together, we were reminded that although we may come from different churches, we belong to one body, one faith, and one Christ. Our differences do not separate us; through Christ, they become part of something greater - a community united in faith, love, and purpose.

A heartfelt thank you to 𝐁𝐫𝐨. 𝐍𝐚𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐚𝐞𝐥 𝐀𝐥𝐦𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐨 𝐒𝐮𝐛𝐚 for leading the fellowship and sharing God’s Word with the youths. Through the message, activities, laughter, and fellowship, new connections were formed and existing bonds were strengthened.

May PANAGHIUSA be more than just the theme of one gathering. May it remind us to continue walking together, serving together, and growing together as one in Christ. 🪢

𝐖𝐎𝐑𝐃𝐖𝐈𝐒𝐄: 𝐁𝐈𝐁𝐋𝐄 𝐐𝐔𝐈𝐙 𝐁𝐄𝐄

How well do you know God’s Word? It’s time to open your Bible, sharpen your memory, and put your knowledge of Scripture to the test!

The Bethlehem United Methodist Church - UMYFP invites our youths to WORDWISE: Bible Quiz Bee, happening on October 25, 2026, at Bethlehem United Methodist Church.

The competition will have two levels to give our young Bible scholars a fair and exciting challenge:

JUNIOR LEVEL (Ages 12–15)
SENIOR LEVEL (Ages 16–17)

Each level will go through three challenging rounds:

EASY ROUND
15 Questions • 1 point each
Format: Multiple Choice

AVERAGE ROUND
15 Questions • 3 points each
Format: Identification

DIFFICULT ROUND
10 Questions • 5 points each
Format: Identification, Fill in the Blanks, and Memory Verses

And the challenge does not end here! The winner will have the opportunity to represent Bethlehem UMC in the future District Bible Quiz Bee Competition.

𝐏𝐀𝐍𝐀𝐆𝐇𝐈𝐔𝐒𝐀 | 𝐔𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐚𝐬 𝐎𝐧𝐞 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐂𝐡𝐫𝐢𝐬𝐭

Just like a 𝐭𝐢𝐞𝐝 𝐫𝐨𝐩𝐞, we become stronger when we are bound together. Different strands may carry different colors, stories, and identities, yet when intertwined, they form one strong connection - just as we, though coming from different local churches, are united as one body in Christ.

Today, let us gather for PANAGHIUSA, a 𝐉𝐨𝐢𝐧𝐭 𝐘𝐨𝐮𝐭𝐡 𝐅𝐞𝐥𝐥𝐨𝐰𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐩
celebrating unity, faith, and fellowship. May this gathering strengthen the bond among our youths and remind us that in Christ, we are many, yet we are one.

“So in Christ we, though many, form one body, and each member belongs to all the others.” - Romans 12:5 (NIV)

𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐂𝐎𝐒𝐓
Following God is a calling but answering that call is not always easy.

For the next three weeks, we will journey together through a new sequenced devotion that will talk about the realities and hardships of being a servant of God. Serving Him can require our time, strength, comfort, and even sacrifices that others may never see. This is why our series is called 𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐂𝐎𝐒𝐓 - not because serving God is a burden, but because genuine commitment sometimes asks us to remain faithful even when it becomes difficult.

Each week will take us through a different part of that journey:

Last Friday, we finally reached the last part of our 3-week sequence devotion. From THE REVIEW, to facing THE TEST, and now seeing 𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐑𝐄𝐒𝐔𝐋𝐓, we were reminded that every season God allows us to go through has a purpose.

Through the message, we learned that the result is not always about receiving exactly what we expect. Sometimes, the greatest result is the growth, perseverance, stronger faith, and changed heart that God develops in us along the way.

A heartfelt thank you to 𝐒𝐢𝐬. 𝐄𝐥𝐢𝐲𝐚𝐡 𝐈𝐧𝐟𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐒𝐚𝐦𝐛𝐢𝐥𝐞 for leading our devotion and sharing God’s Word with us.

And with that, our journey through THE REVIEW, THE TEST, THE RESULT comes to an end but may the lessons we received continue to live in our hearts and be reflected in the way we live each day.

The journey continues! After THE REVIEW and THE TEST, we are now ready for the final part of our 3-week sequence devotion - 𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐑𝐄𝐒𝐔𝐋𝐓.

What happens after the review? What happens after the test? Sometimes, the result is not simply about what we achieve, but about who we become through the process. God calls us to remain faithful, keep doing what is right, and trust that our efforts in Him will bear fruit in His perfect time. 🌱

THE TEST | ONLINE DEVOTION

Last Friday, we gathered face-to-face for a meaningful youth devotion entitled “𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗥𝗘𝗩𝗜𝗘𝗪.”

This devotion marked the first part of our 3-week sequence devotion, where we are invited to pause, reflect, and prepare ourselves for what God has in store. Through 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗥𝗘𝗩𝗜𝗘𝗪, we were reminded to look back on what God has already taught us, recognize His faithfulness, and examine our walk with Him.

A heartfelt thank you to 𝗦𝗶𝘀. 𝗟𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗹𝘆 𝗝𝗼𝘆 𝗧𝗮𝗺𝗮𝘆𝗼 for leading our face-to-face devotion and sharing God’s Word with us. May the lessons we reviewed not simply remain in our minds but continue to shape the way we live out our faith every day. 🤍

And this is only the beginning!

Last August 28, we took a deeper dive into God’s Word through our 𝗨𝗡𝗗𝗘𝗥𝗦𝗘𝗔 Online Devotion!

As we journeyed through the depths, we were reminded that no matter how overwhelming life may become, God is always with us even in the deepest waters. He is our strength when we feel like sinking, our peace when the waves get rough, and our guide when we cannot see the way ahead.

A heartfelt thank you to 𝗦𝗶𝘀. 𝗡𝗶𝗰𝗼𝗹𝗲 𝗘𝘇𝗿𝗮 𝗔𝗻𝗻𝗲 𝗥𝗲𝗺𝗼 for leading our online devotion and sharing God’s Word with us. May the message we received continue to remind us that we are never alone in the deep.

And to everyone who joined us online, thank you for diving in with us!

REPOST | 𝐀 𝐏𝐑𝐀𝐘𝐄𝐑 𝐅𝐎𝐑 𝐎𝐔𝐑 𝐍𝐀𝐓𝐈𝐎𝐍

As our fellow Filipinos face floods, heavy rains, landslides, and other calamities, let us come together as one church and pray for our nation.

𝗟𝗼𝗿𝗱, 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝘁𝗲𝗰𝘁 𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘆 𝗳𝗮𝗺𝗶𝗹𝘆 𝗮𝗳𝗳𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗲𝗱. Comfort those who have lost their homes and loved ones, strengthen those who are struggling, and guide those working to rescue and serve others.

But we also pray for justice and accountability.

𝗙𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗼𝘀 𝘀𝗵𝗼𝘂𝗹𝗱 𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝗵𝗮𝘃𝗲 𝘁𝗼 𝘀𝘄𝗶𝗺 𝘁𝗵𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗴𝗵 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗲𝗾𝘂𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝘀𝗼𝗺𝗲𝗼𝗻𝗲 𝗲𝗹𝘀𝗲’𝘀 𝗴𝗿𝗲𝗲𝗱.

As a church, may we not only pray, but also 𝗯𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗱𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗳𝗲𝗲𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝗖𝗵𝗿𝗶𝘀𝘁 in helping, serving, and standing with those in need.
