Good Friday is a Christian festival that commemorates Jesus' crucifixion and death at Calvary. It is observed as part of the Paschal Triduum during Holy Week. Good Friday, despite its name, is a day of solemn reflection.

On Good Friday, Christians traditionally abstain from eating meat and instead eat fish, a tradition that dates back millennia. Christians are not allowed to eat the flesh of warm-blooded animals on this Friday, according to Roman Catholic tradition. Let us not forget to reflect on ourselves on Good Friday.

Ngayong Huwebes Santo ay ating ginugunita ang huling hapunan ni Hesukristo kasama ang kanyang labindalawang apostoles. Sa hapunang ito, ibinahagi ni Kristo ang hinati-hating tinapay at ang alak sa kalis sa kanyang mga apostol.

Dito rin isinagawa ang paghugas ni Kristo sa paa ng kanyang mga apostol bilang pagpapakita ng paglilingkod at kababaang-loob.

Sa ating kasalukuyang panahon, ating dalhin ang aral ng kababaang-loob, pagbabahagi at paglilingkod para sa iba.

It is related with the blessing and procession of palms in various churches because it commemorates a time when Jesus entered Jerusalem and was greeted by crowds waving palm branches.

The victorious entry of Jesus Christ into Jerusalem marks the culmination of his earthly career. As he approached Jerusalem, he realized that this was his means of carrying out the Father's purpose, which was to free humanity from its wickedness. May this holiday serve as a reminder to welcome Jesus into our hearts in exchange for our salvation and willingness to follow Him.
