Bakit Maraming Cristiano ang Tamad Dumalo sa Prayer Meeting?

Kung 20% lang ng Sunday attendance ang dumadalo sa Prayer Meeting, kailangan nating tanungin kung ano ang dahilan.

1. Hindi nila nakikita ang kahalagahan ng Prayer Meeting
Para sa iba, importante ang Sunday Service pero optional lang ang Prayer Meeting. Ngunit sa Acts 2:42, makikita na ang unang mga Cristiano ay “continued steadfastly… in prayers.” Ang prayer ay hindi extra activity—bahagi ito ng Christian life.

2. Mas inuuna ang convenience kaysa spiritual discipline
May legitimate reasons tulad ng trabaho, pamilya, o health. Pero minsan ang prayer meeting ang unang isinasakripisyo kapag may ibang bagay na mas gusto o mas convenient. Ang Christian maturity ay nangangailangan ng discipline.

3. Maaaring may spiritual dryness
Kapag nawawala ang desire sa prayer, Bible, at fellowship, maaaring senyales ito na kailangang muling palalimin ang relationship sa Diyos. Hindi ibig sabihin na automatic na hindi saved ang absent, pero dapat itong maging dahilan para mag-self-examine.

Bottom Line

Hindi lang attendance ang problema—ang mas mahalaga ay ang spiritual priority ng prayer.

> “Pray without ceasing.” — 1 Thessalonians 5:17

Ang goal natin ay hindi lamang maraming dumalo sa Prayer Meeting, kundi isang church na tunay na nananalangin.
