Today, youth gathered together for a fun and meaningful bed roll making activity in preparation for their upcoming youth event. More than just learning how to sew, the activity taught patience, preparedness, perseverance, and teamwork.
Though some struggled, accidentally poked their fingers, and laughed at how their bed rolls turned out, everyone continued with joyful hearts and encouraged one another along the way.

This simple activity became a reminder that growth comes through effort and faith. As taught in Alma 37:6, “By small and simple things are great things brought to pass.” The youth not only learned useful skills for the future, but also strengthened friendships and unity as they worked together.

Relief Society Anniversary: A Celebration of Sisterhood and Service

On April 11, 2026, sisters of the Quezon Philippines Palawan District of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints gathered at the Quezon District Center to celebrate the 184th anniversary of the Relief Society. The event was filled with love, laughter, and shared talents as sisters from different wards and branches came together in unity. Through uplifting messages, Christ-centered activities, and joyful fellowship, the celebration reflected the divine purpose of the Relief Society to strengthen faith in Jesus Christ and build strong individuals and families.

As talents were showcased and testimonies were borne, the Spirit was felt among the sisters, reminding each one of her sacred identity and role as a disciple of Jesus Christ. More than a celebration, the gathering became a renewal of commitment to live with faith, serve with charity, and minister with love. Truly, the anniversary stood as a testament that united in righteousness, Relief Society sisters can be powerful instruments in the Lord’s work.

Last March 28, 2026, the Rizal Branch Primary held a meaningful and engaging activity where the children enjoyed a mini tour centered on gospel learning. They were introduced to the importance of the temple, learned about Joseph Smith’s First Vision, and participated in simple yet inspiring discussions suited to their age. Each part of the activity was carefully prepared to help the children feel the spirit and understand sacred teachings in a joyful and memorable way.

Every moment of the activity was special, especially as the children learned about the temple and its significance in their lives. They also experienced a real-life recreation of Lehi’s dream, where they followed the path and held onto the iron rod, helping them better understand the importance of choosing the right and staying strong in their faith. It was a fun, interactive, and spiritually uplifting experience that will surely remain in their hearts.🥰

Yesterday, the Rizal Branch Youth gathered by the sea not just to enjoy the moment, but to learn and grow together through a simple yet meaningful activity—swimming. As they practiced and trained in the water, laughter and encouragement filled the air. Each stroke, each attempt, and even every struggle became a reminder that growth often begins outside of our comfort zones.

Just like learning how to swim, the spiritual journey also requires trust, courage, and perseverance. There are moments when the waters of life feel deep and uncertain, but we are reminded that Heavenly Father is always with us—guiding, strengthening, and teaching us how to stay afloat. When we rely on Him, we find peace even in the waves and confidence even in the unknown.
