𝑳𝒐𝒗𝒆 𝑴𝒐𝒏𝒕𝒉 is a special time of year dedicated to celebrating all kinds of love - romantic love, familial love, the love of friendship, and even self-love. It's a time for expressing affection, appreciation, and connection with those who matter most to us.

This activity is in collaboration of DCJCC Lacag and DCJCC Taladong to emphasize the meaning of π‹πŽπ•π„ 𝐒𝐧 𝐆𝐨𝐝'𝐬 ππŽπ•.

Come and join us this February 16, 2025 at P5 Sitio Abgao, Brgy. Lacag, Daraga, Albay.

As we begin the two-day celebration of our 3RD Youth Thanksgiving Day that started yesterday, let's continue it today! πŸ”₯

All of the participants of Day 1 came back and gathered together for the awarding ceremony and praise and worship. The weather didn't exude a bright and sunny day but that will never be a hindrance for us to continuously praise the goodness of God. ✨

The event started by the always great and talented Worship Leading Team. The voices feel like someone is putting you on cloud 9 and the way they strum the guitar, every hit and beat of the drums make indeed the youth the chosen generation. πŸŽ™οΈπŸŽΈ

Here are the photos πŸ“· taken on the second day of our 3RD Thanksgiving celebration. It was with a grateful heart that the youths acknowledged the invitation of the Lord through us and were with us enjoying the presence of God. The awarding ceremony for the activities was held on the second day of the event, as well as the sermon from Pastor Alwin Lunas. Moreover, the youths of Brgy. Lacag who were registered on Day 1 were also given a Pamasko Package from SK Lacag.

As for the second part of Day 1 of our two-day Thanksgiving celebration, we had team-building activities facilitated by Lacag SK Chairman Kuya Alex and one of our DCJCC Bicol Youth leaders, Kuya John.

These activities aimed to create and promote an environment that encourages collaboration, open communication, and problem-solving while also being entertaining for the participants. They also highlight the importance of adapting and adjusting strategies during the activity.

Now, with our first presenter! From Team Ketchup, Tara Ann Salalima, who gave us her spoken word poetry. It was indeed a wonderful masterpiece we can’t deny!

Next is Jezcel Zuniega from Team Paminta. A melancholic yet meaningful delivery of speech. Feels like this team brought us to a drama genre!

Followed by Andrea Shaine Ablera from Team Toyo. What a strong start from their team! Team Toyo starts with fierce and spicy lines and even the crowd are in awe!

Last to present was Aprilyn Mae Natad from Team Asukal who brought us to the world of good rhymes. Good Job Team Asukal for short yet impactful lines!

Diving into the Quiz Bee part which consisted of questions from the Bible, Science, and History! It surely amazes us when they can still answer even the most difficult questions given by the facilitator. Surely these youths are not just talented but also excel in academics!

First to present was Team Ketchup. During their showcasing of talents, the youth can't help but close their eyes to feel the good rhythms of the song. Indeed it was the Goodness Of God that brought us all here.

Now with Team Paminta who gave us the feel of being in cloud 9 during their performance. Resonating us with the good melody which let us realize, wow this team is on another level!

With Team Toyo, the singer may give a cold voice but we're warming with the song. Team Toyo never really came to play!

Followed by Team Asukal. You embraced us with those chilling songs. The Team plus the Good Weather equals a good combination! It was like an equation which resulted in a good masterpiece!

Lastly, Team Asin. We never knew that serenading songs would be this good. Team Asin feels like a February 14 vibes!

I feel the rhythm, I made a dance move, and added my creative touch.

DanceπŸ•ΊπŸ’ƒπŸΌ is an art form that involves rhythmic body movements synchronized with music. Dancers aim to convey emotions and ideas through their physical gestures.

Guess what? Our youths managed to put on an incredible performance that we all enjoyed. KAGAGALING! NAKAKA-PROUD!

JUST IN | D-Day has come! 🌟

The Divine Covenant of Jesus Christ Church Youth Department together with SK Lacag, proudly presents the 3RD Youth Thanksgiving Day with a theme, Why Me? A two-day event which consisted of LITVIMUSDA, Team Building Activity and the Thanksgiving proper which happened on December 28-29, 2023 at Lacag National High School.

The participants can be shown fully anticipated for the Day 1 of the 3rd Youth Thanksgiving Day. The weather came along with exuding sunshine and brightness. 🌞

Let's Get to know each other in a unique way! The Worship Leading Team together with the Media Team, prepared an ecstatic way to create a new bond and friendship, with high hopes that this activity can build a strong bond to all the youths. Despite her busy schedule, errands, and important matters to do, we are sincerely grateful for giving her time and invaluable support in this event. The coordination of each official made all the activities fun and euphoric. ✨

To formally start the activities, the always gorgeous Ate Bey delivered the flow of the program with her charming smile. Judges were also instructed about the criteria and were ready to begin the first part of the LITVIMUSDA.

The participants were grouped into five teams, such as Team Paminta, Team Asin, Team Toyo, Team Asukal, and Team Ketchup. All of these are condiments which can be found in our kitchen! πŸ˜†πŸ‘¨β€πŸ³ All of them were very excited to begin their journey towards discovering and presenting their talents, skills, wit, and the same time, knowing more our Lord Jesus Christ. Truly a fun-filled Day 1! 🫰

The panel of judges was Kuya Earl John Lozano, Ate Louise Dianne Lunas, Kuya Ralph Christian Colanggo, and our very own SK Chairman, Kuya Alex Berlon Jr., who profoundly critiqued the presentations of each team. ✨
