Moments of faith, reflection, and unity filled the journey as the youth walked together in prayer and devotion. The 17th Diocesan Youth Way of the Cross became a meaningful reminder of sacrifice, hope, and the strength found in walking with Christ and with one another.
Mission: "Jesus said to her, Give me a drink" (John 4:7)
Along the journey, the youth reflected on the story of the Samaritan woman at the well, where Jesus broke barriers of culture, judgment, and differences just to reach a soul in need. From this encounter, the youth were reminded that Christ thirsts not only for water, but for our love, faith, and willingness to share His message with others. Like the Samaritan woman who encountered Jesus and went on to share the Good News with her community, the youth were called to recognize Christ in the people they meet and to become instruments of compassion and understanding.
Through every step, the youths carried not only the cross but also their intentions, prayers, and renewed commitment to live out their faith in their daily lives. This gathering strengthened the bond among the youth and ignited a deeper spirit of service and discipline.
As the event concluded, the memories, lessons, and shared experiences continue to inspire the youth to remain steadfast in faith and active in their mission as young members of the Church. Together, we move forwardโguided by faith, strengthened by the community, and ready to continue the journey. โจ๐
