With deep sorrow and heartfelt prayers, the St. Anthony of Padua Altar Servers Ministry mourns the passing of our beloved senior server, Von Erick A. Dela Torre
(February 22, 2004 — May 25, 2026)

Von faithfully served the Church as an altar server from 2015 until 2025. Through his years of service, he became a true example of faith, humility, discipline, and dedication to God’s altar. His presence, guidance, and memories will always remain in the hearts of everyone who had the blessing of serving alongside him.

We extend our deepest condolences and sympathies to his family, friends, and loved ones during this difficult time. As we grieve his passing, we also thank God for the life and service he shared with our ministry.

“Well done, good and faithful servant.”
— Matthew 25:23

May the Lord grant eternal rest to Von, and may perpetual light shine upon him.
Rest in peace, dear brother in Christ. 🤍

May 23, 2026 | Catechism Session ✨

Our catechism session focused on the liturgical seasons celebrated in the Catholic Church, the Seven Sacraments, and the Seven Gifts of the Holy Spirit. Through this session, we learned how the Catholic calendar and celebrations work, helping us better understand the events that took place during the time of Jesus Christ.

We were also taught the importance and purpose of the Seven Sacraments, and how they help strengthen our faith and deepen our relationship with God. In addition, we reflected on the Seven Gifts of the Holy Spirit, the humble gifts given to us by God, and learned how we can use them to grow in faith, wisdom, and love for Christ.

A meaningful day of learning, faith, and spiritual growth. 🤍

May 16, 2026 | Catechism Session 📖 🙏🏻

Our aspirants and altar servers came together last Saturday for a Catechism session reflecting on the commandments and creations of our Lord and their deeper meaning in our daily lives. More than commandments, these are invitations to live in genuine love toward God, toward others, and toward His creation.

Just as Saint Francis of Assisi taught through his life, loving the Creator also means caring for the beauty He has entrusted to us every person, every creature, and every gift of nature. In choosing love, kindness, and respect, we reflect the heart of God in the world.❤️

Let us all reflect on this verse, that we may love one another as we love ourselves.🤍

"Whoever does not love does not know God, because God is love."
-1 John 4:8 📖

May 9, 2026 | 2nd Catechism Session 📖

Our altar server aspirants gathered at parish, St. Anthony of Padua, for their 2nd Catechism session. Guided by our dedicated catechists, Ms. Beth Francisco and Mrs. Neoling Daluperi, the aspirants reflected on the meaningful question: “Who inspired you to become a server of God?”

The afternoon was filled with sharing, learning, a reflection of how one’s service can be an inspiration to another, and a deeper understanding of God’s love and the calling to serve.

May these young aspirants continue to grow in faith, humility, and dedication as they take each step closer to serving Him. 🙏✨

✨ Orientation Success!

A successful orientation for the aspiring altar servers was held last May 3, 2026 at St. Anthony of Padua Parish led by Bro. Kenneth Pacaul and our youth leaders.

A calling often begins in the smallest acts of service, faith, and willingness to say yes to God. Serving as an altar server is not only about assisting during Mass, but also about answering God's call with faith and commitment. Through this orientation, we, together with the aspiring altar servers learned the deeper meaning of the Mass, the sacraments, and the importance of serving with reverence and discipline. It reminded us that service is one way of growing closer to God and becoming part of the Church's mission.

May this be the start of a meaningful journey of faith, service, and commitment to God and His Church. 🙏🤍
