Last Sunday, we joyfully celebrated the 64th birthday of our beloved Pastor, Thor Yamat! We thank God for his life, faithful service, and the blessing he has been to our church family for 27 wonderful years. Through the years, his dedication, love, prayers, and service have touched and encouraged so many lives. ❤️

We are truly grateful to God for giving us a pastor who continues to serve with faithfulness and love. May the Lord continue to strengthen him, guide him, and bless him with many more years of fruitful ministry.

Pastor, please know that we are always praying for you and supporting you in prayer. May you be reminded that every sacrifice, effort, and labor you have given for the Lord is never wasted.

Today, we praise God for the wonderful gift of your life and for your faithful service to Him. Thank you for being a shepherd who leads with humility, teaches God’s Word with conviction, and loves the flock with a Christ-like heart.

Your prayers, sacrifices, and dedication have impacted countless lives, including ours. We are truly grateful for the example of faith you continue to set.

As Paul wrote, “Be ye steadfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord.” (1 Corinthians 15:58, KJV)

Our prayer is that the Lord will strengthen you, grant you good health, fill you with His joy and peace, and continue to use you mightily for His glory.

Belated Happy Mother's Day (May 10) and Happy Father's Day (June 21)! Thank you for your unwavering love, faithful service, and Christ-centered example. May the Lord richly bless and strengthen each of you as you continue to serve Him and your families.

Their love, sacrifices, guidance, and faithful examples are among His greatest blessings. Through their care, discipline, and prayers, they reflect God's love within the home and help nurture the next generation to walk in His truth.

As the Bible reminds us:

Noong nakaraang Mayo 16, 2026, matagumpay na idinaos ang VBS 2026 ng Shepherd Christian Baptist Church of San Jose na may temang “Ibahagi sa Iba: Aking Kristong Tagapagligtas.” Naging masaya at makabuluhan ang araw na puno ng pag-aaral ng Salita ng Diyos, awitan, mga gawain, at isang espesyal na role play presentation na nagbahagi ng Mabuting Balita tungkol kay Jesus.

Lubos kaming nagpapasalamat sa Panginoon sa Kaniyang gabay at pagpapala sa buong programa, gayundin sa lahat ng mga g**o, manggagawa, volunteers, sponsors, mga magulang, at mga batang nakiisa upang maging matagumpay ang gawaing ito. Nawa’y magpatuloy nating ibahagi sa iba ang pag-ibig at kaligtasang matatagpuan kay Cristo. Ang lahat ng papuri at kaluwalhatian ay sa Diyos lamang! 🙏✨

Even in the midst of a power interruption, our Prayer Meeting Service continues. Tonight reminded us that worship is not dependent on lights, sound systems, or comfortable surroundings — it is centered on God alone. Though the building may be dark, the presence of the Lord continues to shine brightly in our hearts.

We thank God for every member who stayed, prayed, worshiped, and remained faithful despite the inconvenience. Moments like this show that true worship comes from a willing heart and that nothing can stop God’s people from gathering together in prayer.

May this be a reminder that in every situation — whether convenient or difficult — God is worthy of our praise, our time, and our devotion.

𝐂𝐇𝐔𝐑𝐂𝐇 𝐎𝐔𝐓𝐈𝐍𝐆 𝐀𝐍𝐃 𝐁𝐀𝐏𝐓𝐈𝐒𝐌 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔

Our church outing was truly a meaningful and blessed time together as we gathered not only for recreation, but also for devotion, fellowship, and strengthening our faith in the Lord. We thank God for using Pastor Yamat as our devotion speaker, whose message encouraged and reminded us to continue growing in our relationship with the Lord and in unity as a church family.

From the different activities, games, and shared meals, to the simple conversations and laughter we enjoyed together, every moment became a reminder of God’s goodness and the joy of Christian fellowship.

We would also like to express our heartfelt gratitude to all the sponsors and supporters who generously extended their help and blessings to make this outing possible. Your kindness and support are greatly appreciated, and we pray that the Lord will continue to bless you abundantly.

Above all, we thank the Lord for His protection, guidance, and the wonderful memories we shared together. May this outing continue to inspire us to serve Him faithfully and remain united in love and fellowship.

𝐌𝐨𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫'𝐬 𝐃𝐚𝐲 𝐀𝐩𝐩𝐫𝐞𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔

Last Sunday, we honor the women whose love quietly reflects the heart of God. Happy Mother’s Day to every mother, grandmother, spiritual mother, guardian, and woman who has nurtured others with grace, sacrifice, and faith.

As a church family, we are grateful for every mother who teaches children to pray, who leads with humility, who serves with joy, and who continues to trust God even when the road is difficult. You are deeply appreciated, greatly valued, and richly loved.

May the Lord continue to strengthen your hearts, renew your spirits, and fill your lives with peace and joy. May He reward every unseen sacrifice, every tearful prayer, and every act of unconditional love.
