Today's Daily Prayer

Then I saw a new heaven and a new earth; for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away, and the sea was no more...And he who sat upon the throne said, "Behold, I make all things new." Also he said, "Write this, for these words are trustworthy and true." Revelation 21:1, 5, RSV

Lord our God, our Father, we look deep into your mighty Word and see the glory of the new world you will create according to your justice and truth. We thank you for giving us this joy on earth in the midst of all our toil and striving. We look deep into your Word. You make all things new. To this hope our lives are directed, to this hope you have called us, and we want to be faithful forever. Praise to your name, for you have already done great things for us! Keep us in your Word. Let many find the light, for in this light they may look to you in simple faith and constancy until the end, when throughout the world we may see your glory and your grace. Amen.

Bilang bahagi ng paghahanda at pasasalamat sa Diyos sa Ika-450 Anibersaryo ng Pagkakatatag ng Parokya sa Marso 3, 2025, ipagdiriwang ang Banal na Misa tuwing ika-3 ng bawat buwan sa ganap na ika-6:00 ng gabi sa ating Parokya.

Ngayong 𝐃𝐢𝐬𝐲𝐞𝐦𝐛𝐫𝐞 𝟎𝟑, 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟒, 𝐢𝐤𝐚-𝟔:𝟎𝟎 𝐧𝐠 𝐠𝐚𝐛𝐢, ang Banal na Misa ay pangungunahan nina 𝐑𝐞𝐯 𝐅𝐫 𝐏𝐞𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐂𝐨𝐥𝐥𝐢𝐧 𝐂𝐫𝐢𝐬𝐨𝐬𝐭𝐨𝐦𝐨, 𝐑𝐞𝐯 𝐅𝐫 . 𝐉𝐨𝐡𝐧 𝐏𝐚𝐮𝐥 𝐌𝐨𝐫𝐚𝐥𝐞𝐬, 𝐚𝐭 𝐑𝐞𝐯 . 𝐅𝐫. 𝐀𝐚𝐫𝐨𝐧 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐤 𝐉𝐨𝐬𝐞.

Magsama-sama po tayo at makibahagi sa pagdiriwang na ito at purihin natin ang Diyos sa biyaya ng isang Parokya.

"Nakikinig sa aking tinig ang sinumang nasa katotohanan.”

Ang mga salitang ito ay bukal ng pag asa sa mga taong hinahayaang manaig ang katotohan sa kabila ng anumang pasakit subalit ito'y isang babala at sumpa sa mga taong pinipiling mabuhay sa kasinungalingan dahil kailanman, hindi mapangyayari na ang mga taong pinili and isang buhay na nakabalot sa kasinungalingan ay aakma sa kadakilaan ng katotohanan at katarungan.

Ang Diyos ay ang Katotohanan kaya't pagsumikapan nating mabuhay sa katotohanan. Ang mga sugat na kaakibat ng mga pagsubok na maaring dalhin ng katotohanan ay may paghihilom na kaakibat ngunit ang mga mapagbalatkayo ay mananatiling nakakubli sa biyaya at grasya ng Awa ng Diyos!

THEOLOGY AND REFLEXIVITY

Reflex does not necessarily mean alteration. In scientific parlance, reflex speaks about how body reacts. Our life in the Church should enable us, especially those who call themselves servants of the Church, to let ourselves be formed on how we react on things especially on how we integrate ourselves with the principles of the Church. We have to keep in mind that within the principles and teachings of the church are virtues that calls for us to holiness. That is the role of the Church - to bring people closer to God. A servant of the Church who uses the authority provided by the Church to push people away from the Church is a charlatan - an agent of those who would make people distant from God.
