We, the Youth of Meysulao United Methodist Church, joyfully invite you TOMORROW as we celebrate the 8th Year Anniversary of our 🤍 𝓟𝓻𝓪𝔂𝓮𝓻 𝓘𝓷𝓽𝓮𝓻𝓬𝓮𝓼𝓼𝓸𝓻𝓼 𝐅𝐞𝐥𝐥𝐨𝐰𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐩 🤍
under the United Methodist Youth Fellowship.

For the past eight years, we have witnessed how God moves through prayer—how He listens, restores, strengthens, and empowers those who choose to stand in the gap. As young people, we are called not only to believe, but to intercede, to pray for one another, for our church, and for the world around us.

With the theme
✨ “𝐂𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐝 𝐭𝐨 𝐈𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐜𝐞𝐝𝐞, 𝐄𝐦𝐩𝐨𝐰𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐝 𝐛𝐲 𝐆𝐨𝐝” ✨
based on James 5:16, we are reminded that prayer has power and that God uses willing hearts—regardless of age—to accomplish His purpose.

We invite you to worship with us, pray with us, and celebrate God’s faithfulness together. Let this gathering be a moment of thanksgiving, renewal, and unity as we lift our prayers to the Lord as one body in Christ.

UNCHARTED: Discover. Trust. Go. ✨

Minsan sa buhay, may mga season na pakiramdam natin wala tayong malinaw na mapa. Hindi natin alam kung saan eksaktong patungo, kung ano ang susunod na mangyayari, at kung kakayanin ba natin. Pero sa gitna ng lahat ng ito, may isang paanyaya ang Diyos—na mag-discover, magtiwala, at humakbang kasama Siya.

Ang UNCHARTED Youth Retreat na ito ay naging patunay na kahit hindi malinaw ang lahat, sapat ang presensya ng Diyos para magpatuloy. 30 youth ang nag-yes sa tawag ng Diyos—nagtipon hindi lang para magsaya, kundi para mas makilala Siya, mas maunawaan ang Kanyang kalooban, at mas tumibay sa pananampalataya.

Sa bawat session, worship, kwentuhan, at tahimik na sandali, unti-unti naming nadiskubre kung sino ang Diyos sa gitna ng aming mga tanong at takot. Natutunan naming magtiwala kahit hindi pa kumpleto ang sagot. At higit sa lahat, hinamon kaming humakbang—kahit maliit man—patungo sa layuning inihanda Niya para sa amin.

Lubos ang aming pasasalamat sa mga sponsors na ginamit ng Diyos bilang daluyan ng Kanyang provision, lalo na sa pagkain at iba pang pangangailangan. Dahil sa inyo, naisakatuparan ang retreat na ito at naranasan namin ang pag-aalaga ng Diyos sa napaka-praktikal na paraan. 🤍

Maraming salamat sa tagapagsalita ng devotion, si Ptr. Jovito Mendoza, sa mensaheng nagpatibay at nagpaalala sa amin ng presensya ng Diyos sa bawat uncharted season ng buhay.

Maraming salamat din sa tagapagsalita ng Session 1, si Ptr. Aaron Merciadez, sa makapangyarihang mensaheng may pamagat na “Lost but Seen”—isang paalala na kahit minsan kami ay naliligaw, hindi kailanman nawawala sa paningin ng Diyos.

Maraming salamat din sa lahat ng Youth Officers na nagtiyaga, nagsakripisyo, at nag-pursigi mula sa pagpaplano hanggang sa aktwal na retreat. Hindi naging madali ang lahat, pero dahil sa inyong puso ng paglilingkod, naisakatuparan ang gawaing ito.

Isang espesyal at taos-pusong pasasalamat sa aming kasamang Deaconess—kayo ang isa sa mga pangunahing ginamit ng Diyos upang maisakatuparan ang retreat na ito. Salamat sa inyong walang sawang suporta, paggabay, sakripisyo, at malasakit sa amin. Kung hindi dahil sa inyo, hindi magiging posible ang retreat na ito. 🤍

Lubos din naming pinasasalamatan ang aming Council sa walang sawang paggabay, payo, at suporta sa amin throughout the retreat. Malaking pagpapala ang inyong presensya at pamumuno sa amin bilang kabataan.

Hindi pa tapos ang kwento.
Ito pa lang ang simula.

Sa kabila ng hirap at kalbaryo na dala ng mga kalamidad at baha sa aming paligid, nagpapatuloy pa rin sa pagsamba, pagpupuri, pagbibigay, at pakokinig sa salita ng Diyos.

1 Cronica 16:34-35
Purihin si Yahweh, sa kanyang kabutihan;pag-ibig niya'y tunay, laging tapat kailanman. Sabihin ding:“Iligtas mo kami, O Diyos ng aming kaligtasan,tipunin mo kami ngayon at iligtas sa kalaban;upang aming pasalamatan ang banal mong pangalan

Tulad ng sabi sa konteksto, patuloy ang pagpuri at pasasalamat sa saya man o sa kahirapan dahil sa kahit anumang sitwasyon ng buhay ay nariyan pa rin ang biyaya ng Panginoon sa buhay ng bawat isa.

Grabe, ang sarap magsimula ng araw sa presensya ni Lord! 🙌
Kanina nagkaroon kami ng morning devotion kasama ang aming deaconess at buong youth fam. 💛

Our devotion reminded us from Matthew 5:14 — “You are the light of the world.”
Na kahit feeling mo minsan maliit ka lang o wala kang impact, may liwanag kang dala galing kay Jesus. Hindi mo kailangang maging perfect para magliwanag minsan sapat na ‘yung simpleng kabaitan, pag-unawa, o pag-encourage sa iba. Sobrang na-remind kami na hindi dapat itago ang liwanag na binigay ni Lord.
Let’s continue to shine sa school, sa bahay, at kahit saan tayo dalhin, kasi baka ‘yung simpleng liwanag mo, ‘yun pala ang kailangan ng iba para makakita ulit ng pag-asa.

Thank You, Lord, for this refreshing time of reflection and fellowship with the youth. 🙏

Maraming salamat, Pastor, sa lahat ng taon na ginugol mo para gabayan kami hindi lang bilang isang leader, kundi bilang isang tunay na lingkod ng Diyos. Sa bawat preaching mo, sa bawat prayer, at sa bawat simpleng kumustahan, ramdam namin ang pagmamahal ng Lord sa pamamagitan mo.

Hindi naging madali ang lahat, pero lagi mong pinili ang maging tapat sa panawagan mo. Salamat sa paghubog sa amin lalo na sa youth para mas mapalapit kami kay Lord at lumalim ang aming relasyon sa Kanya. You didn't just lead us, you walked with us. You showed us what it truly means to follow Christ.

Ngayong aalis ka na sa chapter na ito ng iyong ministry, bitbit namin ang lahat ng aral, payo, at pagmamahal na iniwan mo. Masakit man sa amin ang iyong pag-alis, masaya kami dahil alam naming may bagong misyon si Lord para sa'yo.

We will miss your words of wisdom, your laugh, your guidance, and your presence. But above all, we are grateful. Grateful for your obedience, your faith, and your heart that always said "yes" to God.

Go with our prayers, Pastor. Hindi ito goodbye this is just "see you again." We love you, and we are forever thankful.
