HAPPY MOTHER's DAY TO ALL NANAY OUT THERE. 💐

Behind the brunch and the bouquets, Mother’s Day is a quiet reminder of the "invisible" work that shapes our lives. It’s a day to reflect on the person who held our hands before we knew how to walk and continued to hold our hearts once we found our own way.

A mother’s love is often found in the smallest, most selfless details—the sacrifices made in silence, the unwavering belief in our potential, and the unique ability to make the world feel safe just by being in it. Whether she is a mother by blood, by choice, or a guiding light in spirit, her influence is the foundation upon which we build our own strength.

Today is about more than just a "thank you"; it is a celebration of the resilience, patience, and boundless grace that defines motherhood. It’s a moment to honor the women who give so much of themselves so that we might have everything.

"He is not here; he has risen, just as he said." — Matthew 28:6 📖

​There is something so powerful about the silence of the garden on that first Easter morning. It started in darkness, in grief, and in what felt like a final ending. But as the sun began to rise, the world changed forever. 🌅

​Today, we celebrate more than just a historical event; we celebrate the fact that hope is never lost. The empty tomb is a standing promise that light will always break through the darkness, that love is stronger than death, and that new beginnings are possible for every one of us.
​Whether you are celebrating with family, attending a service, or simply taking a moment of quiet reflection, I hope your heart is filled with the peace and joy that this day brings. We serve a living God, and because He lives, we can face tomorrow with confidence and grace. 🙌✨

Walking the Path of Grace 🌿

​The Villanueva Youth Ministry gathered today at the St. Therese Shrine of the Child Jesus to journey through the Stations of the Cross. As we retraced the steps of Christ, we offered our repentant hearts and sought the strength to carry our own crosses with faith.

​May this Via Crucis remind us all that even in the darkest moments of the climb, there is the promise of the Resurrection.

Wishing Maundy Thursday (or Holy Thursday).

It commemorates the final events before Jesus' crucifixion, primarily the Last Supper, where Jesus instituted the Eucharist (Communion), and the washing of the disciples' feet as an act of humility and service. It also marks the Agony in the Garden of Gethsemane and the betrayal by Judas.

The Last Supper (Institution of the Eucharist) : Jesus shared his final Passover meal with his disciples, breaking bread and drinking wine, consecrating them as his own true body and blood, establishing holyCommunion.

Washing of Feet (Mandatum): Jesus washed his disciples' feet, demonstrating servant leadership and giving a "new commandment" to love one another.

Agony in the Garden : Following the meal, Jesus went to the Garden of Gethsemane to pray, experiencing intense sorrow before his arrest.

Betrayal and Arrest : Judas Iscariot betrayed Jesus with a kiss, leading to his arrest by temple guards.

Trials before High Priests : Jesus was taken to Annas and Caiaphas, the high priests, for initial questioning.

In Christian tradition, this day begins the "Easter Triduum"—the three-day period covering the passion, death, and resurrection of Jesus. Many churches hold special services that include the washing of feet and the consecration of holy oils.
