Our Story

The Lord Jesus Christ led Me, and my wife to start a cell group, sometime on May of 1989 in Urduja Village, Caloocan City. Barangay 172.

It was a day-by-day teachings on Children ( ages 4 years up to 18 years old) the good news- that, the Lord Jesus Christ came to earth, and died on the cross, for the forgiveness of our sins, and cleanses us by His blood.

For more than a year, we grew in numbers; and a house -to- house gatherings of children continues. All the teachings are anchored from the Bible- the Word of God.

We never stop speaking of God’s love, to the nearby neighborhoods, and even outside our Barangay.

The Lord blessed us so much, when Parents of these attending children approached us, if we could have a Home Bible Study inside their house. And from that time, we conduct our First church services, in a house of one of the attendees, only few attended that day, about Ten people.

The Lord Jesus, blessed our Home Bible Study into 3 groups, until we reached Eight groups in all. From that time we reach 27 in attendance; 10 adults and 10 young peoples and 7 children.

And after several months, we decided to organize it into a Regular Church Worship Service On April 27,1990. Atty. Marcelino Arias our Head Pastor, at Bible Baptist Church Project 8 is our Speaker, and later commissioned me that day as Pastor.

All the people attended and signed their names, served as the Chartered members, of this new organized Church. We have an attendance of 37 that day.

We do some activities in our community, and nearby barangays like Evangelistic Crusade, as part of Jesus Christ great commission, to all his disciples. This is where another additional members added, and need to find a place where we can worship the Lord. And after a year of Prayers, the Lord led us to a certain vacant lot. And by the help of the Lord, we are able to buy this parcel of Lot, located at No.5 Kalusugan St. Franville 5 Caloocan City, also in the same Barangay.

After 24 years the Board of Trustees, members, agreed together for a Church ‘change -of- name resolution’, where unanimously voted as Approved!

So, the new name of our Church is; “GOD IS GOOD BIBLE FELLOWSHIP, INC. (Formerly Bible Baptist Church of Franville 5 Kalookan City, Inc.) And We’re more than 200 in our membership, and has a growing churches located in Caloocan, Leyte, Masbate and Laguna.

As of now, we are doing the will of the Lord Jesus, under the leadership of the Holy Spirit, through the direction of our Head Senior Pastor, Rodolfo “Rudy” C. Baun, and the Board of Trustees and members of GGBF.
