How to Overcome Discouragement

Are you facing stagnation, physical/emotional burnout, rejection, financial strain, or relationship challenges? Satan may use this struggle to discourage us, but let us remember that in the race, God is with us. Hebrews 12 gives us a presentation of the power of persistence:

๐‹๐ข๐ฌ๐ญ๐ž๐ง ๐ญ๐จ ๐ญ๐ก๐ž ๐œ๐ก๐ž๐ž๐ซ๐ž๐ซ๐ฌ - let us surround ourselves with the people who ran the race and show victory if we donโ€™t quit.
๐‹๐š๐ฒ ๐š๐ฌ๐ข๐๐ž ๐œ๐จ๐ฆ๐ฉ๐ฅ๐ž๐ญ๐ž๐ฅ๐ฒ ๐ž๐ฏ๐ž๐ซ๐ฒ ๐›๐ฎ๐ซ๐๐ž๐ง - let us remove everything that slows us down in the race. May it be a sin or a habit that doesnโ€™t glorify God; let us strip those away and recommit again to the Lord.
๐‹๐จ๐จ๐ค ๐œ๐ฅ๐ž๐š๐ซ๐ฅ๐ฒ ๐ญ๐จ ๐‰๐ž๐ฌ๐ฎ๐ฌ - letโ€™s keep our eyes on Jesus, the champion who initiates and perfects our faith because He endured shame on the cross, and now we can see the joy that awaits us.

This Motherโ€™s Day, we honor every mother who continues to love, serve, and sacrifice despite exhaustion and unseen struggles.

As we journey through life, let us continue to trust Him, lay aside every burden, and keep moving forward with faith.

Many challenges have been ongoing since the start of the year, from global crises and personal pain to health concerns. These struggles may urge us to quit and feel like we are pressed down from many directions, but we must take heart. The transforming power of the Lord will provide us with strength and everything that we need to stay in the race. Trials are not meant to wear us down but to help us grow closer to the Lord, so we must persist to develop our confidence and our character, as well as gain new perspectives.
