Every Friday: 7:30pm - 9:30pm It is a product of God’s irrevocable calling and grace to its Senior Pastor Rev. In 2011, JLH started as a satellite church to Word of Hope after Pastora Elma received a stirring in
her heart to plant once again. Being known to be a great leader, teacher and church planter, she had planted many churches in her younger years, three of which were in Jesus Is Lord Church which even up to date are still existing and growing. Hesitant to plant a church again, Pastora Elma braved the uncertainties of funding and planting a new church because of a calling she couldn’t refuse. On June 19, 2011 the first Sunday service began with a very promising start of over 150 attendance and complete set of ministry leaders, JLH had a great beginning. As in every journey there are ups and downs but the Lord remained faithful to JLH. By the year 2015, in its continuous efforts to spread the gospel, reach more souls and train more ministry leaders through their evangelistic efforts of door-door tracks distributions, crusades, trainings and retreats, JLH gave birth to its daughter church in Bignay Valenzuela City. The church continued to grow with over 700 combined membership. Having the need to locate to a bigger place, in 2019, the Lord gave Pastora Elma another vision – a vision for expansion that is to purchase a lot and build a church building. Capitalizing in Faith in God alone, JLH’s faithful leaders and members purchase a lot area in Bagumbong, Caloocan City. As the Word of God to Abram in Genesis 12:1-3: “Get out of your country, From your family And from your father’s house, To a land that I will show you. I will make you a great nation; I will bless you And make your name great; And you shall be a blessing. I will bless those who bless you, And I will curse him who curses you; And in you all the families of the earth shall be blessed.” JLH, in March 1, 2020 just 2 weeks before the national lockdown due to the Worldwide Pandemic held its first Sunday Service as an independent church. It was a Lord’s day to remember, indeed! Another milestone to the church and its members. The birth of JLH is very timely that it has given a ray of hope to the church and its community. Despite the economic recession caused by the Pandemic, JLH didn’t stop reaching out to the lost souls and taking care of its members. Bags of relief goods to their members were distributed and efforts to preach the Gospel and disciple its people were tripled through online platforms like social media and video meetings.JLH will continue to pursue its vision to passionately spread the good news of Salvation, diligently impart hope in Christ and be the church that God has called them it to be – A church that loves God and its people.
